JIMIN POV

"Jamie! I think you better come in now." Elizabeth called from the door to Jamie. I was slightly disappointed. I wanted to know Jamie's secret.

"Tell me in five minutes when you're in your room. I'll be in my room waiting. Take your time if you need it." I said. Jamie nodded cutely, and I kissed her forehead. At that, we departed and I walked over to my house.

When I got in, I sighed and put my backpack down. My mom appeared out of her room and slightly smiled at me. I promised Jamie to try to be nice to her.

"Hey mom." I said. She looked at me surprised. She didn't expect me to speak to her, let alone talk first.

"O-Oh? Hi Jimin, how was your day?" She asked.

"Fine. I'm just tired from dancing. I'm going to go up to my room." I said. She nodded.

"Of course, um... are you hungry?" She asked me. I shook my head.

"I ate already." I said. With that, I went upstairs, sighing.

I changed and got comfortable. I put my laundry in the laundry basket... when suddenly... I heard screaming. Curiously, I walked into my room, only for something to shatter my window in the next moment. What the?

Surprised, I rushed to my window and looked out.

"Jamie what's wro--" I started to say. However, I stopped and my heart stopped beating when I saw Jamie's father angry and Jamie crying. What's going on? Did he find out?

Jamie's father looked furious. He had his fists tightened, and I gulped in anxiety.

"Park Jimin. Do you love my daughter?" He asked sternly. I looked to Jamie and saw her shaking her head, but I thought that it was time her father found out about us. I was skeptical about the situation because I wasn't sure what was going on. All I knew was, Jamie was crying, and her father was angry.

"Y-Yes sir." I confessed.

Jamie's father's eyes widened, and he threw his head back and laughed hysterically.

"Love?! Idiots! Love doesn't exist! Only pain." He yelled. I grew more scared by the second. I suddenly had a very bad feeling about the situation. "I'll show you what I mean. Watch. And enjoy."

Wait. What?

At that, he grabbed Jamie's hair and started beating her. Jamie screamed and my heart instantly snapped in half as my mouth dropped and my eyes widened. Anger and fear suddenly flooded my body. WHAT IS HE DOING?!

I shoved the remaining shattered glass away from my window sill and nearly jumped out of the window at the sight. He was hurting Jamie. Jamie was screaming. What. Is. He. Doing?!

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! JAMIE! NO! STOP! YOU'RE HURTING HER! LET HER GO!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. Her father slammed her window shut and continued to beat her. I watched as he beat Jamie and threw her around.

"NO! STOP! PLEASE! JAMIE!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "JAMIE! DON'T TOUCH HER! YOU'RE HURTING HER LET HER GO!" I screamed. It hurt. My whole body hurt watching him beat the girl I love, and tears rushed out of my eyes instantly. My face burned up as I screamed and reached out, as if that would save Jamie. What the hell am I doing?! I need to go save her!

I immediately ran out of my house, scared, panicked, and furious.

"JAMIE! JAMIE!" I screamed as I nearly jumped off of my stairs. I threw the door open and sprinted to Jamie's front door.
