*Author's Note*: So, I'm not the type of person to do a lot of author's notes, (I don't know why), but I uh, actually have reads on this story and that's shocking to me. I'm hoping the people that are reading this actually like it, but it's hard to tell since they're aren't really any comments, so if you want to give me feedback, it's much appreciated:))))). Anyways, thanks again to those reading and I hope you stay with me for this story! :)
"Spring Break isn't until next week, so why are we starting now?" Jayce asks, picking at random ingredients on the table.
"We have to get the perfect recipe and that, my love, takes time." I inform him, mixing together things for the crust base of the cheesecake. The texture just has to be perfect. I was in it to win it.
"Love?" He questions, watching me mix.
"It's called a term of endearment dummy." I say, tossing the butter tub at him.
"Hey, what was that for?" He whines.
"Make yourself useful and toss that in the fridge." I tell him.
"Fine mother." He mutters. I shoot him a glare.
"I can throw this batter at you right now." I say. "Don't test me."
"You won't. You're too dead-set on winning this damn competition." He says, sounding sure."I have enough ingredients to throw three mixtures at you before I start worrying. Again, don't test me love."
"So you can call me love, but I call you bae or Skye and it's a crime?" he asks, taking some of the batter and licking it.
"Give me a better nickname then and I won't complain. Do you like love?" I ask.
"I'm working on it. And yeah actually, I can get used to love. Sounds kinda formal though." He says, more to himself than to me.
"Okay flatten this on the platter and make sure there are NO holes or cracks. Not even a tiny one Jayce, I mean it." I instruct, handing him the crummy crust. He looks hesitant, but does as I ask.
"I'll work on the filling now. It'll be a classic cheesecake, but we'll top it with a fresh blueberries and stuff." I inform him.
"Yeah yeah whatever. I just want to eat this thing already."
"Watch it Jayce."
"Yes love." He teases, sticking his tongue out at me.
"For the third time, don't test me Rocket boy."
"Whatcha gonna do? Punish me?" He asks with a snort.
"Maybe I will." I say, staring right into his eyes. He tenses, eyes widening.
"Kidding!" I shout, laughing at his expression. He pouts and shoves me.
"Not cool. You scared me." He says.
"Oh cry about it later." I tell him halfheartedly, busy in my baking.
"Skylar, no one is looking. Kiss meeeee." He whines, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Did you finish spreading the crust?" I ask.
"Pleaaase? C'mon, my little Sky Blue?" He asks, chuckling. I however give him a thoughtful look and quickly peck his lips, smiling softly."If that's your nickname for me, I can't say I don't like it." I tell him.
"Sky Blue it is." He agrees, kissing me once more.
"Now finish the crust!" I snap, getting back to baking.

"I don't think you understand how glad I am that we are DONE." Jayce breathes, hopping up on the counter.
