OMG! I haven't updated in FOREVER! I'm SOOO sorry! Please don't hate me! I've just been so busy with school starting and boy drama and urrrggghh! (sound familiar) I know it's been a while, which is why I tried to make this chapter as long as possible. Hope you're happy with that. Here it is!

Chapter Twenty-Six

John gasped. “Really?” he said.

“Wait a minute. You’re going to turn into a werewolf?” Hayden said.

“Um, maybe,” I said.

“Why would you do that? It’s……” she paused. “Wait another minute. Are you doing this so you and Brad can be closer?” she said.

I sighed. “Hayden, it’s not like that. It’s completely the other way around. I’m doing this for John, not Brad,” I said.

“What?” she said.

So I had to explain everything that happened lately.

“So you pretty much have to do this or you can’t be with John,” she said when I was through.

“Exactly,” I said.

“Ok. That’s understandable,” she said. “So how are your powers?”

“Um, I don’t think I have them anymore,” I said.

“What?” John said.

“Yea. They stopped working for some reason,” I said.

“And you’re just now telling me this?” he said.

“Yup. It’s not really that big of a deal,” I said.

“Well ok. If you say so. Anyway, who’s the ‘werewolf’ that your granny’s bringing over, Tiffany?” John asked.

“I don’t know. I don’t even know if it’s a girl or boy. I’m not even sure how long it’s going to take them to get here!” I said. And as if on cue, the doorbell rang.

“Well, there’s your answer,” Hayden said.

I opened the door and there stood my grandma with the ‘werewolf’. He was really hot. If I wasn’t dating John, I would TOTALLY be all over him. He was tall, about 6’2 with dark brown hair, green eyes and the cutest dimples ever.

“Aren’t you going to invite us in?” grandma said.

“Oh. Sure! Come on in,” I said nervously. The hot boy walked in and surveyed the house.

“Did you have a wild party or something?” he asked.

“Not exactly. We had a break-in,” I said. I was going to try out the ‘burglar’ story.

“Oh, wow. That sucks,” he said. It was working.

“HI! I’m Hayden!” Hayden said fluttering her eyelashes at the cute boy.

He chuckled. “Hi. I’m Eric,” he said.

“Ohhh……..lovely name,” she said.

“Thanks,” he said. He turned to me. “And who might you be?”

Before I could say anything, John beat me to it. “This is Tiffany. My GIRLFRIEND,” he said. He had to emphasize the ‘girlfriend’ part.

“Oh, I’m sorry,” Eric said.

“Yea. You should be,” John said. He was glaring at Eric.

“By the way, that’s John,” grandma said.
