Ben's POV:

Probably the coolest thing about rebooting Boy Meets World into Girl Meets World is being able to live through our characters. In a way, the new show serves as a glimpse of what our (real) lives would be like if Copanga was real... if Danielle and I were a couple. You know it, I know it – we could have had something real good going if we stayed together after BMW wrapped up. Acting together on Girl Meets World is like looking in a trick mirror and seeing how things would have turned out if we had made different choices many years ago. So yeah, GMW allows us to play "house" without the real-life complications. In our alternative reality that is GMW, I'm married to this amazing girl, and we have two beautiful kids whose personalities freakishly resemble both our characters and real-life selves. On the show, we live mediocre lives in a small apartment with jobs that make us happy. It's so similar to real life that it's scary. The only difference is that in real life, we aren't living these mediocre lives together.

Danielle's POV:

Growing up, social media was non-existent. I don't know if that is necessarily a good or bad thing for us at the time, but it's definitely interesting now. Once in a while, Ben and I joke around and hint at real-life Copanga by posting something online. We get a kick out of this "fake couple" stuff and it's so funny to see the fan reactions online. So many people who grew up with Boy Meets World are at the age where they are social media savvy now and we see their posts and read through their comments once in a while. They're a huge part of us and we're evidently a huge part of them so why wouldn't we? Being able to post silly things with Ben online is sort of a way to shed light on a relationship that... I'm not going to lie... we kind of wish we had. Except, we do it in a way that can be easily brushed off or seen as innocent and acceptable if we ever got questioned about it. "Come on, it's just a Cory and Topanga thing," we'd say, when it was totally a Ben and Danielle thing. To tell you the truth, messing around is something kind of fun for Ben and I to do together. It's fun being risky sometimes. He's my partner in crime.
