Hey guys :) it's my first time writing on wattpad (so please like my story :p)
Also a genre notification- this will be a fiction set in the future (so keep your mind open for stuff that haven't been discovered yet) with hints of crushes and intense sarcastic comedy (if you are allergic to sarcasm, please don't read any further :p)

In the future land of 2046, things were looking bleak.. Man was staring extinction in the face if he didn't change his ways.. Not by the hand of another creature, or a natural calamity.. But by his own hand. And that's when it started..
Originating at the heart of the United nations, it spread across the globe- both a boon and a curse..
To some, it was madness
To others a necessity
To all it was FLIPSYDE
*****Faraway voice fades away*****
It was over... I leaned against the huge bulk of the machine and let out a huge sigh of relief.
It was finally over...
I let my mind run through the many insane experiences I had to go through.. It was all still a blur..
There was silence all around me. The kind of silence I'm not used to. But one that I cherished nonetheless. Moments of rest had been hard to come by..
Ignoring the silent cries of the aching muscles in my shoulders and legs, I turned to look at the once intimidating contraption. The object of many of my worst nightmares...
The machine still had an eerie atmosphere about it. I almost expected it to whir back into life.
A sudden surge of pain forced me to my knees. The throbbing in my head was getting worse.. I walked- no crawled rather- back the way I came and clambered back into the light..
The rest is how it ends.. But first I have to tell you how it begins...
