POEM #39: SUNSETS

The orb ignites in sacred, crimson light,
Its edges tapped by the Sun's fading goodbye.
Hills stand as the night's fiery grace is born,
The bystanders watched, departed, mourned.

Waves of time revealed the ancient gifts,
Rippling colors that carried faded lullabies.
The guardians ascend, their codes anew,
Silhouettes cradling the shifting view.

As the dusk awaits the night's soothing rain,
Each ray descends in vivid streams.
With the ending glow, there's a sweet release,
A memorable glimpse of dazzling peace.
