FINAL POEM: BLACK STAR

Nothingness - a feeble concept,
One that glides through with ease.
And yet, when the time comes
Its cold grasp reminds us of it all.

When a king meets its end -
All of the townspeople can't help
But make themselves known
For a gesture that's all too common.

To dwell on the divine goal —
To mourn the lost time —
All of them compounds to the final part
Of what makes a real man.
