POEM #40: MUSE

Oh, endless muse — the heavy heartbeats,
You forge in depths unexplored by chords.
In relentless towns, you bear the tides,
And lift the dark with your golden swords.

When joy persists, you strike so elegantly,
Living on, entwining yourself in electric divine.
You speak the names no silence can endure,
And call your waiting friends as the stars align.

The spell that grips, it now bore a single fruit,
A parting rhyme — so frugal, encompassing.
Oh music; you are like dawn's firstborn child,
Sublime, refined — it is everlasting.
