Getting to sleep in on a Saturday morning is seriously a gift from God. Summer was nice, getting to sleep in every morning unless I opened for work which meant I had to be at the mall at nine a.m. Even then I slept later than I do when I have to get up for school.

I have work today but I didn't mind. Work for me was fun especially on days when I work with Vanessa, like today. Making coffees can actually be fun and it makes the time go by fast so I'm never bored. Plus I get to gossip with Vanessa the whole time and I have tons to tell her about last night.

I rolled over in bed and snuggled up in my covers just for a few more minutes until I need to get up to get ready for work. I blindly reached over on my night stand to grab my phone, unlocking it I checked my messages and social media.

Kelly had sent me that picture of me and Matt from last night and before I went to bed, I posted it on Instagram. The picture surprisingly had a lot of likes. Fifty to be exact. Matt was one of the many that liked it and he even commented on it saying Thanks so much for coming. :)

It was simple but it meant a lot to me. I haven't heard from him today but the day is still young and I am hoping for a text from him later. Who knows if I'll get one though.

I've learned when it comes to Matt, never get your hopes up.

After browsing through Twitter and snapchat stories, I decided to finally get up. I had about two hours before I needed to be at work and I could be using that time getting ready.

I went downstairs to the kitchen to fix some breakfast. The sweet smell of cinnamon rolls filled my nose and my stomach growled. I quickly ate the two cinnamon rolls that my mom must have fixed earlier this morning.

They were delicious.

Reece and Cate were in the play room watching TV and my mom was in the living room watching some movie. My dad was also off work today and was doing some yard work outside. This was a typical Saturday morning for us unless we had some type of plans.

"Good morning sweetie," my mom said when I plopped down on the couch beside her. Me and my mom had a great relationship and I loved spending time with her. I still can't believe she is pregnant again! "Did you have fun at the game last night?"

I nodded, "Yeah, I had fun. Matt played amazing!"

"I'm glad you got to go. How's his family? I haven't seen them in a while." My mom loves the Smith family as much as I do. She has always approved of Matt and I if we had ever wanted to date but let's just say she doesn't know all the details about our relationship.

I might be close with my mom but I don't go telling her my boy problems all the time.

"They are good. I'm glad I got to see them."

"I'm glad you have fun sweetie." She said. "Do you have work today?"

"Yes and afterwards I have to go to a classmate's of mine house to work on a project if that's okay?"

"That's fine, do I know this classmate?"

I nodded, "Yeah you do. It's Kyle Mason, Missy Mason's son." My mom used to work with Kyle's mom Missy at her old job several years ago.
