"Happy Birthday Kyle!" I squealed as I jumped onto his back. He effortlessly caught my legs and held me so I wouldn't fall.

It was Monday and even though we were at school, today has been a good day so far. It's only morning but I woke up in a good mood so hopefully it will stick for the rest of the day.

It's was also Kyle's birthday, he turns eighteen today. He's an adult now, that's kind of scary. I would not be surprised if I have to bail him out of jail soon.

Once Kyle had put me down, he slung his arm over my shoulder and kissed my cheek. My cheeks warmed and I instantly became aware of our surroundings. We were still at school in the parking lot and people were all around us. I was not very fond of PDA so even though the kiss had my heart fluttering, I was mad that he did that here at school. Thankfully, no one was really paying any attention to is so that one may have gone unnoticed but it may not happen again so he needs to be careful.

"You better be coming to my party tonight."

"I wouldn't miss it for the world." I know what you're thinking. Why is Kyle having his birthday party on a school night? Well tonight just so happens to not be a school night. Tomorrow is a teacher/parent day at school so we do not have to be present. Which means we can party all night long at Kyle's to celebrate his birthday.

He puts his mouth close to my ear, his hot breath fanning my neck giving me chill bumps. "Good, because I need my leading lady there with me."

My cheeks burned and a knot formed in my stomach. My heart pounding shows how nervous he makes me. I can't deny how much he affects me.

We continue to walk to our class. We didn't have the first class together so he stopped at the door and hugged me. "See you later babe."

I rolled my eyes and made my way into the classroom and sat down in my desk. A freshman girl that sits beside me and leaned over. "Are you and Kyle dating?"

I laughed, "No, we are just friends."

"But didn't he just like kiss you and called you babe?"

I blinked at her in surprised and embarrassment. This girl has never spoken a word to me before and when she does, she is basically accusing me of dating Kyle Mason.

"Um, thats just how our relationship is. I swear we are just friends."

"You're a lucky bitch, you know that?"

A sound came out of my mouth that sounded between a cough and a laugh resulting me in choking. "I guess?"

She laughed, "I'm kidding, but seriously girl I'm jealous. I would be all over that. I could never be just friends with Kyle Mason."

I sighed, relieved she wasn't going to beat me up for being friends with Kyle. "He's a pretty cool guy and a great friend." I replied to her comment.

"You guys are relationship goals for sure."

I laughed, this girl is hilarious.
