Chapter 14

A/N: This chapter will be in Becca's POV and Austin's POV so make sure you pay attention to the POV change.

"Alone in the night 'til she knocks on my door
Oh no, wasted again but I can't say no (no)
Baby tell me why, why you do, do me wrong
Baby tell me why, why you do, do me wrong
Gave you my heart but you took my soul" - Chains - Nick Jonas

Becca's POV

Winter break was finally here and I couldn't be more ready for it. I have been swamped with school and work making me ready for this much needed break.

The bell rang and I gathered my things up and waited on Kyle to finish talking with our Physics teacher. Once he was done, he got his stuff up and we headed out the classroom to our lockers.

"What do you have plans this winter break?" I asked him. I continued walking with Kyle to his locker. We have gotten in a routine this past two weeks me walking to his locker them going to mine. We started it because he needed help carrying his things after coming back from his accident since he was healing but now that he's healed we still walk together.

"Just going to work out and focus on basketball." He said with a shrug. I think the hardest thing for Kyle while he was healing is that he couldn't play basketball. The guy loves basketball more than anything, except maybe himself, but basketball is his life. Him having to miss a few practices as been hell for him. I've been trying to help get his mind off of it these past couple of weeks but he is so stubborn that it was hard.

Thank God he has been released by the doctor and can play again. I don't think I could take Kyle whining anymore.

Don't let him fool you by his tough and strong demeanor, he is a big baby when it comes to not being able to do anything.

"What about you?" He asked me once we reached his locker. "What have you got planned?"

I shrugged, "Not much really, probably just hang out and watch Christmas movies."

"Well you should call me sometime and we can watch Christmas movies together."

I chuckled, "I thought all this winter break was going to be consisted of for you was basketball?"

"It is," he defended, "But doesn't mean I can't hang out with cute girls and watch Christmas movies with them."

I blushed and the little butterflies in my stomach fluttered. He defiantly has a way with words.

"Oh so now I'm not the only girl you're going to watch Christmas movies with?" He sighed and I had to stifle a laugh because he was getting aggravated. It was fun messing with him.

"You know you are the only cute girl I'm going to watch Christmas movies with."

I smiled as we left his locker and turned the other direction to go to mine. Kyle was being a child and picking on me, not watching where he was going and crashed into a passing student.

The binder Kyle was holding and the person he crashed into stuff went flying and papers littered the floor.

Great.

Good going Kyle.

"Oh shit! I'm sorry," Kyle rushed to the ground gather his things up and help the poor freshman girl pick up her stuff too.
