Ah, so you're Miss (Y/N)," the scarlet man said as he floated over to you. You looked up.Fury had finally convinced Thor and Tony that you should be allowed to meet their "son". After a few run-ins with the other Avengers, they were worried that you would attack him. You had to assure them that you wouldn't do anything to harm him, and he would be returned to them in one piece. To which Tony was not amused.
"That's right. And your reputation precedes you, Vision. It's an honor to meet you."
"That is very kind of you. Tell me, what elements do you have control over at this time?"
"At the moment, I can work with water, earth, fire, air, light, gravity, metal, and a bit of sound. And Thor has taught me to harness electricity, for the most part."
He blinked. "You will make a considerable threat. And an invaluable ally."
"Thank you. And I hear you're not so bad yourself. You can pick up Mjolnir, are very intelligent, and your reflexes are incredibly sharp." He stared at you for several seconds.
"I heard about the window thing," you stated. He nodded to himself. "How do you react so quickly?"
"How do you bend the elements to your will?" he countered.
"It all depends on which one I'm using. They have their own...quirks, I guess you'd say."
"Such as?"
"Water is calm and loose. I can't summon it unless I'm calm myself. If I try, I end up summoning ice instead."
"It reacts to what you feel," he said. You nodded quickly.
"Yes, exactly!"
He smiled softly. "My instincts are the same way. I only lunged at Thor because I was a bit unnerved. But when I realized I was in no danger, I was able to stop before I hit the window."
"Do you think you could teach me that?" you asked. He frowned thoughtfully.
"I suppose we could try." Without another word, he picked you up by the collar and hurled you towards the opposite wall.
You shrieked, expecting to slam head first into the wall and probably break several bones. But you opened your eyes to see that Vision was still sitting next to you. And you hadn't moved.
"How do you bend the elements to your will?" he asked. You blinked, staring at him.
"What?"
"It seems to be a simple question."
"But...I already answered it. You asked me that just a minute ago."
He frowned. "What do you mean? I have no record of this conversation."
And that was when it hit you. You had turned back time. And he had no idea.
Tony walked in a few minutes later to see his creation short-circuiting.
"What did you do?!" he exclaimed.
"Nothing! I just...accidentally turned back time."
"How many times?"
"Once." He nodded to himself. "And then a few more times on purpose." He stared at you with wide eyes. You cleared your throat.
"Well, I see that you're obviously very mad. And I should leave you to it."
"Nice try, princess. You aren't getting out of this one." You bit your lip, concentrating as hard as you could.
"Ah, so you're Miss (Y/N)."
"Too far," you growled to yourself.
"What was that?" Vision asked. You smiled up at him.
"Nothing! Great to meet you, Vision. Feels like we've done it a dozen times already." He frowned thoughtfully. "It's an expression," you added quickly.
But he didn't reply. He just began to twitch, and stammer nonsense. You threw back your head and groaned.
"Thor, Tony! I broke your child!"
