Light was pouring through the window, the thin f/c fabric doing nothing to help. The only sound heard was crickets chirping and the soft snore of C/n.
You turn around to admire the delicate features of C/n's face. The usually always tense features now relaxed and calm. The dark/light strands of hair covering his/her face wavering slightly due to the soft breaths coming out C/n parted lips. You look down to see the soft skin on C/n arm around your waist. Your legs intertwined in the sheet protecting you from the cold AC in the summer heat.
You start to wonder how you lucky you are and how fate was finally on your side. You ended up meeting C/n by crashing into her/him. If you just looked up from your Pokemon Go quest on your phone you for just a second you would have realized that there was a person right in front of you. If she/he just looked up from the book he/she was reading C/n would realized that you weren't paying attention and that you were going to collide. It amazed you that a one second difference could've changed the event leading up to then.
Shaking your head as if to shake out your thoughts You decided to get up to make a surprise breakfast. You were already planning it, waffles and Nutella with some strawberries and eggs. Then you realized that you would probably burn down the kitchen attempting that so you settled for toaster oven waffles and coffee. As you started to get out of C/n loose grip your alarm started blaring f/s. C/n's grip tensed until she/he realized that it was just your alarm. In his/her sleepy daze she/he attempted to turn off the alarm. C/n rolled onto your and started slapping around trying to find the bedside table holding the alarm. After a few slaps to your face C/n finallyfound the off button and nestled into your chest after it was off. His/her grip was tight so you couldn't escape it. The soft snores continued to pour out of his/her mouth as her/his head rested on your chest.
You couldn't escape so you started to drift off to sleep. Before you could fully go to sleep and small smile found its way onto your face.
