It was a daily routine for you and Scott to go jogging early in the morning. The idea behind it was it would keep both of you in shape because as "superheroes" you couldn't always rely on your suits.

Today, Scott was actually getting ahead of you. You were upset but you didn't want to make a big fuss about it. You hoped he didn't notice. But knowing Scott, obviously he did.

Scott looked at you with a curious eye and you sighed as you dread his inevitable 'what's wrong' question. But Scott just smiled softly at you.

"You know, I was thinking..."

You raised your eyebrow at him.

"You're offically a valid member of Team Avengers. You, Y/N need a code name. And I thought of a good one." He smirked proudly as you both continued jogging.

"Says the guy who calls himself Ant-man." You retorted with a smirk of your own. This made Scott stop and looked at you with a firm unwavering stare.

"That was not my idea you know that." he defended while you laughed. Scott smiled at hearing your laugh. It was something he cherished whenever he heard it and it made him feel even better when he was the cause of that angelic sound. "But come on hear me out, Y/N."

You still had a raised eyebrow but nodded with a small smile. "Impress me Scott."

Scott smiled brightly. "What about Firefly?"

You thought about it for a bit before you shook your head. "Scott, I can fly but I can't do anything involving fire or light."

"We could ask Hank to give you some flashlights on your arms–" Scott chirped happily while gesturing his wrists before you slapped him on the shoulder. "Hey ow!"

"Very funny." you replied as you increased your pace in your jog. Scott had to breathe a bit before he caught up to you. "Okay okay, what about....locust?"

You did not like that either and you glared at Scott when he caught up next to you. "What about Mantis?" you asked with a look of malice.

"That...has nothing to do with the fact that they eat their mate right, Y/N?"

"Oh it has everything to do with that, Lang." you warned.

Scott ran up in front of you and stopped you by putting his hands on your shoulders. "Okay okay, I'm sorry. I know you're a little on edge but this one is legit."

You waited while looking away. So he did notice.

"Honeybee." Scott said simply.

He waited for a it before explaining. "I thought about this for a while and I really think it suits you. It represents how sweet and caring you are but also shows that you are fierce and not to be reckoned with...."

You looked at him with a speechless expression. Scott somehow knew just what to say. He wasn't always an ass because he could be really sweet and you loved him for it.

"Honeybee and Ant-man huh?" You smiled.

Scott shrugged. "Well, mine is totally better though."

"Yeah right.." you rolled your eyes while laughing.

"I know something's been troubling you, Y/N." he admitted while you looked at him curiously. "The ants know everything~" he asked with a half serious tone and a half joking one. You couldn't tell if he was joking or not.

"Listen though, Y/N. You don't have to tell me what's wrong but just let me be there for you. I care about you way too much. I love you, Honeybee." Scott whispered with a laugh.

You swore you were blushing but you laughed to mask the embarrassment. "I love you too, Ant-man." you replied with a quick kiss on his lips. You loved Scott.

Then you smirked.

"Race you to the house! Who ever comes last has to buy dinner!" you challenged as you raced off.

"Yup, she's my honeybee." Scott muttered to himself happily as he tried to catch up.
