Bruce was never the type to fall in love. When it happened it was funny. He couldn't believe he was in love so he laughed it off. He also tried to hide his feeling but it wasn't one of those cover up feelings, it's was a too strong feeling. Bruce didn't want you to feel the same way because he didn't have much and he thought you deserved it all. He didn't have money to buy you an amazing house so you can live in.

Bruce didn't have much. He only had what Tony gave him. He wasn't a famous sculptor or a man with a cool job, he was just Bruce. He didn't want you to find out about his feelings but you did and when he told you that you deserved more you lectured about how all you needed was him. Either way Bruce wanted to give you something so he made you a song. It was your song from then on.

You were so excited about the song. You thought it was heart warming and amazing. You bragged to everyone about the fact that you have a song, a thing of your own. This made Bruce think wonderful thoughts. It made his world a whole lot brighter with the fact that you appreciated the song, your song. So he wrote it down again, hoping you didn't mind.

There was no inspiration for Bruce. Even as he sat on the roof of the Stark Tower and kicked the moss from the plants while watching the sun he had no idea. He couldn't figure out verses, the verses about you. You, the person who kept his heart turned on.

Trying to make the song perfect made Bruce forget. He hadn't seen you the last few days and it was driving him crazy. He couldn't remember the color of your sweet eyes, the sweetest he's ever seen, he couldn't remember if they were blue, green or any of those at all.

Your song was finished. It was complete and perfect. Even though Bruce thought it was quite simple you thought it unbelievable and brilliant and fantastic in all the ways possible. You told the world it was your song. That it was yours to keep and sing along. This was the way Bruce wrote it down. That the world was pretty cool with you around, by putting it in your song.

Rant Time: So we were watching this yearbook thing from the class of last year and I kid you not they played Fall Out Boy, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs. It was only me and Marla1019 ( she's a great person, go follow her and vote and read her books) who recognized the song. I started shouting/singing the song and I was freakin happy.
