Although staying up the whole night and then without knowing sleeping next to your best buddy wasn't that tiring or surprising, having someone wake you up with a shout definitely isn't nice.
"I'm going to be late for classes," Tim all but screeched and literally pushed me away from him where I was comfortably laying with my head resting on his lap, sleeping tightly. I whine loudly, and he childishly whined back like mocking me, "I can't miss anymore classes or it'll have an effect on my grades," he muttered at me, I stuck my tongue at him. "And-"
He's interrupted by the figure looming beside of us.
"Livy." My dad's voice uttered calmly and stared at us with a sour expression, Tim grimaced a bit before he turned to my father.
"Hey, dad," I gently said back. Then I see Tim alternate his stare from my dad to I, "You can go, Tim. I don't want to hear for the rest of my days how I was the reason for your academic failure." I tease, he huffed but picked his bag and coat that he had carelessly thrown away to the ground next to the coffee table.
"Good day, Robin." Tim told him with a smile and rushed out. "See ya, Liv."
The second he disappeared my father assessed me calmly, "What did I say about boys sleeping over," he immediately said with an unpleasant expression, I gape.
"He's my best friend, he's your biggest admirer and wouldn't look at me that way ever." I splutter back at this accusation, he sighed exasperated, "There's no greater proof than him talking my ear off about you all the time." I mutter with a smirk.
He nods, dismissing that quickly then frowned as if he remembers something, "Livy, why was your gun laying casually on the hall?" he suddenly said, my eyes widen for a tiny bit fraction.
Dammit. How could I forget about that?
Sour look on my face I mumble, "I...uh.. I don't know." It came out as a question rather than a statement.
"You don't know?" he asked back confusedly, waiting with that knowing look on his face as he crossed his arms before his chest. He knows when I lie, I don't know why I even try.
So with a sigh I look at him with rounder eyes, "I thought there was someone in the house yesterday," I calmly told him and wait for him to explode, not long and he narrowed his blue eyes.
There was actually, but he doesn't need to know that. Why was I trying to protect him?
"Why didn't you call me then?!" he loudly exclaimed and instantly checked around the place.
"Dad there's no one there. I was just being paranoid. Tim stayed here because of that." I told him, trying to appease him.
"I don't care," he called back, still annoyingly scanning all around the place. I roll my eyes.
It's weird to know Zayn was yesterday here in this place...my house. That's just too personal...And here I go starting to think about him again, even using his name in my thoughts. It's definitely not going to be as easy as I thought it would to forget he was ever here.
I hear the clinking of the front door, the sound alike with when someone is jutting the keys and not long after my mum walked in with her hair in a bun, make up free face and a knee length high waisted skirt and a pink blouse on. She looks like she has a hangover and is in need of a shower and sleep. I try not to laugh and she notices.
"Not a word, young lady." She chastised, I hold my hands up, "Why aren't you ready for classes?" she asked suddenly.
I quickly stand up once I remember that, "I will have breakfast out." I told her as I want to jump in the shower quickly, just then my father came on view and my mother frowned.
