The sun was bright as it was barely eight in the morning on a Sunday. The horror.

"Tasia, please stop." I whine trying to catch her up, running clumsily to her, "I can't believe you convinced me to this." I mutter as she laughed loudly at me since I'm hunching over and resting my palms on my knees. It felt warm even if it was cold outside and I was only wearing some spandex leggings and a red long sleeved shirt. She halted and gracefully walked back to me with a wide smile, she's wearing tight dark blue sweats and a black tank top with a zip jogger shirt, showing off her curvy but skinny body, her dark brown long hair is in high pony tail. She looks great, and is breathing normally whereas I was sweating and wheezing for air.

"You just started, you gotta work to become a kick ass." She smiled at me as I was trying to breathe properly. "Isn't that what you wanted? Kick ass, Olivia." She uttered gently, I pout but nod, she pouts right back. "I will try to run slower." She agreed on making a better deal so I can get in shape. I always felt so tired.

So we jog casually, she tries not to laugh at me but I roll my eyes half-heartedly, "Go on, I don't mind." I utter, she giggles. But what can I say? I hate exercising just as the next person. I can't believe there are people who do this for fun. I still wanted to become stronger and get a healthier immune system. She was going to train me some kick-boxing too. She's a multi talent.

She is in one of my classes, but she's in her last year before she can fully work as a medical intern. She's impressing really, having four years behind her of learning and getting great grades, she's so smart. She helps me a lot with assignments and is literally one of the greatest friends one can have. We haven't really had time to bond and spend time with each other besides of classes and learning until late in an all night open café we discovered. But the more time I spend with her, I strive to be like her, a strong, independent woman.

I almost stumble on my feet when I though I saw his face... before the person jogging from the opposite didn't even look a tiny bit like him.

I should get my eyes checked.

....

After running for about more than 45 minutes, I plead Tasia to stop it and leave it to that. I made a quick turn to my house to take a shower and change in cozier clothes, jeans and a plain sweater with a thick coat. Not much later we're in her apartment that is near the town.

Her apartment is just like her. Vibrant, colourful but neat and clean.

"Is Violet on her way?" Tasia asked after she comes out from a shower, she is drying her hair a little with a towel before twisting it to a turban like form in her hair, wearing a black overall.

"Yeah, it took me some time to persuade her to come by." I told her and sit down on her couch as I was walking aimlessly around the living room, quickly taking the remote to flick through channels in the plasma TV.

"Is she still not over the break up?" She inquisitively asked, sitting next to me.

"I don't think so. It's going to be harder for her since they have been together for a long time." I retorted. Violet is a new friend of mine that I met in the hospital, same year as I, she's wanting to become a nurse. We clicked immediately. She broke up with her long term boyfriend a month ago, and she's still mourning. I guess I can relate to that feeling the best. Tasia and I had tried to be there for her but she insisted she needed some time alone.
