Olivia's POV

The delicate jingle of the bells on the door indicate that there's a new costumer, but instead it's Zayn getting by to get his morning coffee.

We always share it together.

The small family restaurant we had was a nice way of me to earn on the low and still take care of Amar. We had reopened this old place and made it our own.

The furniture was simple and had a homey feel, the way it was decorated as well.

Our friends hang out here all the time when we had time in doing so.

He gets behind the counter and gives me a kiss, "hey love."

"Hi, pretty baby." I mumble on his lush lips back, his hands round my waist and he hugs me for a little while.

I comb through his hair, pecking him a few times.

The beeping alarm on my phone went off, he frowns.

"What's that for?"

Hiding my shaky breaths, "For the cupcakes I'm making." I had to make up a white lie until I was sure about it.

He shrugged and waits for me to bring him fresh cupcakes.

Luckily I had made a few earlier.

He munches them down quickly.

In the meantime some of our employees come around, and I get to have 2 minutes for myself and I check the stick.

Taking a deep breath before I actually take a look.

My breath hitched.

It's positive.

"Liv, babe, where are you?"

Panicked, I thrust the item in my trousers and make my way outside.

Zayn rounds the corner just next to the reception where our guests could get reservations done.

When he notices me, he frowned concernedly, "You look pale, love, you okay?" he takes my face in his hands to inspect me, I smile at him.

"I am. You should get back to work."

"Meet me later?"

I hum knowing he'll probably forget about us meeting altogether because of his busy lifestyle now.

"Same time, same place."

And it's true after hours of waiting, I get in the car and see that Zayn's car had already been home.

.....

After I changed, I was at Amar's room, putting him to sleep after feeding him.

Zayn walked casually in, asking, "Do you think you can wear these again tomorrow, or should I put em in the washing machine?" He was holding my working trousers.

My heart was racing, "Since when do you take care of the dirty clothes? We have household caretakers that do that." I snatch the trousers away, moving out of Amar's room, leaving Zayn to deal with putting him to sleep tonight.

When he achieved in doing so, he asks, "Why are you mad? I was trying to help you since you do too much after work, you're overworking and over exhausting yourself."

Sighing, I sit down our bed, "Where were until now? Can you tell me this?"

He parts his lips multiply times, before he frowns, "Working, why?"

I raise my eyebrow until it hit him.

"Liv." he apologetically says once realizations grows behind his eyes.
