It's been a few minutes since Tyler got here, he was immediately swarmed with questions by Violet and Tasia but he looks towards me when he noticed that I hadn't spoken a word to him, only staring at him with my scowl. I quickly venture to the hall with his gift, laying it on the table there.

He had followed me, "Is everything okay? You ignored me, what-"

Twirling to him, my gaze is harsh, "Who gave you the right to tell Zayn about us kissing?" I question him straight forward, my eyes widening in disbelief.

His eyebrows immediately lower, "Oh... this is what it's about." he mumbles, looking unperturbed.

"Yes, this is what it's about. Why would you tell him just when he was operated? What about your ethics?" I questioned appalled but it's like he doesn't seem to care. This side of him is a new wicked one, "Answer me, why would you do such thing?" I ask, my tone louder than it was before.

His eyes meet mine, "Calm down," he murmurs, looking taken aback, "He-"

"Don't tell me to calm down!" I spat, pushing him back by his chest but he doesn't budge just stares confusedly at my actions. I was searching for someone to push the blame on but it wasn't his, though he did make it worse. "He what, huh? He what?!"

"He had to know. If I were him I'd want to know too."

"But you're not him," I lowly mutter, "I would've told him afterwards when he'd mend."

He scoffed, shaking his head, "Really? When?" he questions.

"Whenever the best time it would be. Aren't you feeling sorry at all?" I retort.

"No, I don't know why I should. I only told him the truth."

"He was almost shot to death. What did you want to achieve with this other than hurt him?" I tell him sharply, "And why? For me?" I continue, feeling hurt at how the friend I thought I had in him completely disregarded my feelings towards this, his head looks down, "Even if there was a possibility to not tell him, which there wasn't; if you'd know me you would comprehend this, you still shouldn't have butted in. It wasn't your place." I calmly told him, "We're friends, nothing more. Also that between us shouldn't have happened at all."

His head snapped back up, "What?"

"What you heard." I retort.

He looks around with eyebrows up, "Alright, so this all was because you were guilty." he concludes, "It takes two to do what we did." he ends lowly.

"Fine, it takes one to say bye," I sarcastically bit back, "You can stay for the rest of the party but I'd rather we remain acquaintance after this."

He nodded, his face blank, "No, I'll leave now. I hope at least I was a good distraction,"

Eyebrows creasing in the middle, "That's not what you were. I told you not to get your hopes up, that I didn't want to use you as a rebound and you said it was alright with you." I counter, feeling overwhelmed by his sudden sad expression.

"I lied." he easily replies, my lips parted, "Have a good birthday." he said before I could reply, he rounds on the spot and then he left.

....

The bright light of the cannon camera where some of the party goes were taking pictures of me and my friends before the built design wall on the patio, then a lot of me alone because Tim took a hold of it snapping thousands of pictures saying I was photogenic and I should use it, he hadn't let me in peace the whole party, making sure I was having a good time which I had. All that laughing and dancing then munching unhealthy food had to boost my mood a bit.
