I told you I would be writing a poem.
It might be mushy for some,
It might be touching for many.
I don't know but I find this funny.

I'm lame when it comes to writing this.
I couldn't find the appropriate words to fit.
But you've drawn my entire face;
So I won't let this go to waste.

Your personality shines so bright;
That sometimes it would hurt my eyes.
It is such a genuine; calm light.
It is so warm but at times, cold as ice.

For me you are a kind stranger;
You'd help someone by lending your hand.
I hope you won't let that attitude end.
You'd help them then they become stronger.

I know nothing makes sense at all.
Dream; just be what you want to be.
Just keep your head up; stand up tall.
Everything would turn out the way it would be.

I am encouraging you; don't blink.
But I know this would make you think;
About how nice; how kind of a friend I am;
Kidding; don't laugh. I am being so lame.

I'm just playing with these words.
What I am saying isn't a fraud.
I hope you aren't laughing now;
Don't even try to raise your brow.

What do I want to convey;
When I couldn't find words to say.
If I tell you I'm a killer, will you stay?
Or you will think this is just a play?

Hey, you know what?
I am always sad
Are you being true to me;
Because it never seems to me
