(A/N: Thank you loads for reading this story. It really means the world to me. For those of you who actually read this, who should be next for my 'Character Profile' segment? Please comment your opinions. I would really like to hear from you. I also want to start doing that for my other story, Absolutely Forbidden, but idk yet. Thank you for all your support. xoxo, ily.)

3. Alone, Together

"They say the Boab tree that separates us from the delinquent school is the oldest tree in Australia." The professor in science class told us. Every science class I've had has had a whole unit on the Boab tree because they saw we're so lucky to have it right here at our school, well half of it. The other half belongs to the delinquents.

Someone raised their hand and when the teacher called on them, Lissandra asked, "Professor Clark, is it true that if you paint a heart on a tree, then your true love will love you back?"

"That's nonsense." She replied, pushing her thick glasses up the bridge of her nose. "Miss Lissandra, you're a student at Elite Way, not a dumbed down delinquent student. How about you ask a better question next time?"

"A heart! On the Boab tree!" Someone exclaimed from the front of the school.

A lot of us hurried towards the old tree and watched in awe, a huge red heart had been painted on the tree trunk. "Oh my gosh, they've defaced the old Boab tree!" I said in complete shock. "Who do you think could have done it?" I asked.

"I think it was those lower class students next door. Only they would find it okay to degrade such a historic monument of nature." Sky pointed out.

"Well whoever it was, they need to be punished." I said, determined to find the person responsible.

The delinquents complained from the other side of the fence. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"You're dumb."

Then I heard another voice that cut in between the rude comments of the delinquents towards us, "It wasn't us." I looked toward the sound of his voice and my heart skipped when I saw Luke Brooks, the gang leader, sitting on a tree branch, watching everything unfold. "And anyway, what would you do if the one responsible was in your precious Elite school?" He looked down at me with a smirk.

"Yeah, yeah!" The delinquents cheered.

"Make her dance naked in front of both schools!" One of them suggested.

My face went as white as a ghost. They couldn't be serious. Luke chuckled, "That sounds pretty interesting."

"Nonsense," Sky patted me on the shoulder in support, "Lilliam doesn't have to do this. You're all stupid."

"Not confident enough?" He challenged.

I felt anger bubbling inside me and blurted out, "Alright, I'll do it. But if one of your delinquents is the guilty one, then you have to do the naked dance. Do we have a deal, Brooks?" I asked him.

I sat in my seat in my regular seat in the foyer with my head down, feeling completely miserable. It had barely been a day since the tree tagging incident and I already regretted what I had agreed to do. "What should I do? Agreeing to dancing naked...How can I even find the person responsible? Ugh, that stupid Luke Brooks and his delinquents."

"I think you should just give up and practice dancing naked." Sky said, taking a bite from her red apple.

I looked up at her with a glare, "You're not helping, Anakin." I said her real name with a twinge of annoyance.
