The Ederians 2: Royalty

(REVISED AUGUST 2017)

The woman ran out with Y/n from the swirl, and Y/n angrily looked up. She gasped as she took in the massive blood red planet.

"This is your home," the woman said.

Y/n whispered, "I thought you were all–"

"Extinct? What a simple minded thing to think," she explained, "We just stayed out of your tiny solar system. Earth is the only planet with life forms, and it's not advanced enough for it to even be on our radars. We have existed for millenniums, and we will prosper forever."

Y/n's mouth stayed open; it didn't even register with her she was breathing in space, or that she was standing in front of her home planet. Would she finally get answers? Why did they choose now to take her? Were they going to kill her?

"You are a legend among legends. This could be yours," she said as she walked around her.

Y/n said, "Would you stop with that?"

Something shot from the planet, and when it passed the women, Y/n realized it was just a shuttle. As Y/n was distracted, the woman said something in her ear, and Y/n immediately collapsed.

When she woke, women were staring back at her. Y/n tried to move, but her wrists were bound. The ladies in the room moved back, and Y/n was happy to find out they were all different shapes, sizes, and colors. No two women in the room looked alike, and she didn't recgonize anybody. Did she expect to?

"Uh, hello?" She asked.

"Ooo! Japanese!" A dark curly haired one said. "Thank the gods its not English."

"I hate English," a fair one seethed.

A short one snapped, "What's wrong with English?!"

"My Kami. Who the fuck are you all?" Y/n asked. "And why am I bound?"

The first one that spoke said, "I'm Uskela. But you can call me Lea." She winked at Y/n.

"Oh my– on the princess?" A tall one sighed.

Uskela shrugged. "It's worth a shot."

"Okay, enough," the one with a pixie cut demanded. "We are the Ten Guards of Edera. The Queen will be with us shortly."

"But why am I tied?"

"We wouldn't want you fighting now would we?" Someone with Y/n's type of hair said.

"Ah, is my daughter awake?"

Y/n immediately tensed. The ten guards in the room all turned to the speaker and bowed respectfully. What could Y/n do? It had been forty years. Should she have just said hi and acted like she meant nothing?

Someone in the room finally looked like her.

"You can all leave," the queen said.

The Guards stood up and left the mother and daughter alone.

"Forty years, and you will not speak to me first?" Her mother asked.

Y/n didn't even think. "Why didn't you take me with you?"

She wanted to take it back.

"This is not how I expected our first conversation to go," her mother said and broke the ropes on her daughter's arms. "And I'm surprised you adapted to our gravity so well." Her voice dropped in a whisper, "I hear you've been looking for me."

"Am I ever gonna die?" Y/n blurted out.

Her mother chuckled and walked around the room. Her blood red dress flowed against the floor, and Y/n still couldn't believe who was standing in the same room as her.

"No, amlemeth. You cannot."

"And my father?"

"Died along with the rest of the Saiyans," the queen said in distaste.

Y/n finally rose from her chair.

"...You didn't love him."

"No, most Ederians do not love their mate. Their mates are only used to procreate and die, but yours..."

Y/n felt her anger slowly rise.

"At the beach that day, you hurt Vegeta," Y/n claimed.

Her mother started, "There are many things you do not under–"

"Then make me understand!" Y/n yelled. "You kidnapped me, and you've been planting clues in my head for years! I deserve to know!"

"Fine, you want answers?" Her mother finally turned to look at her. "I will give them to you."

Y/n couldn't even see what happened before she blacked out.
