This is kinda an afterlife!Marauders thing and I'm undecided about them yet but this is inspired by a really cool idea once again from the mind of jabookaholic enjoy :3
When Dobby sadly passed he was greeted by none other that James and Lily Potter, they thanked him for doing all he could for their son and saving the lives of him and his friends. As time went by Lily and James were joined by their other friends, people they didn't wish to see so much and people they hardly knew at all, but the one thing they all had in common was that they all wanted to watch over Harry, and as more people joined vision became blurred for James and Lily, James trusted his friends to tell him how Harry was but that wasn't enough for Lily, she needed to see her son herself.
Dobby knew he could help, but it would mean he would have to leave everyone he had come to know in such a paradise, but he would do anything for his friends so he told Lily that the last of his elf magic would allow her to visit her son, as the resurrection stone had, for the summer holidays. So of course Lily took the offer graciously and found her son leading a happy life, with children he loves and a wife he could never live without. Lily got to know and love each of her grandchildren and knew she would forever be content that they would lead happy lives.
The biggest shock for Lily came on September 1st, when she found her sister, Petunia Dursley, had a magical grandchild about to start her second year as a Ravenclaw.
