James loved being in Animagus form because all his senses worked properly; He could see perfectly without having to squint through glasses, he could smell the food coming from the kitchens from down in the Forbidden Forest and the biggest advantage.
I seem to be on quite a James hype rn, maybeeeee it's because he reminds me of a certain Captain, under the name of Harkness, Jack Harkness.
