After the Wedding (The Origin of Payb Takes)

Around midnight when Maine got to her Condo unit, she was surprised to see a bouquet of pink and yellow carnations on the table as she walked in. Dean, her younger brother, was seating on the couch.

"Dean, kanino yan?"

"Kanino pa? Sa'yo yan. Dala ni Kuya. Sige, Ate. Tulog na ako. Good night.", Dean said. He got up and walked to his room.

"Huh?" Maine was left wondering. "How did Richard find time to get these here?", she thought.

"Hi Love.", his voice whispered behind her ear.

She was startled. She turns around and saw him standing with a wide smile on his face. "Love!!! Anong ginagawa mo dito? Akala ko umuwi ka na? Magpapahinga ka nga di ba?

He just smiled at her and kissed her nose. "Nagpahinga na ako. Pinatulog ako ni Dean sa couch." He winked and pointed to the couch. "Di lang talaga ako mapakali hangga't di ka nakakauwi, Love.

She smiles and blushes. "Ikaw talaga, Love." She planted a light kiss on his lips. "Ang sweet mo talaga. Thank you." She then brushed his cheek with her hand. "Uwi ka na. Okay na ako. May jogging pa daw kayo ni Daddy bukas. Hahanapin ka na nun tsaka may SPS pa bukas may eyebags ka na naman."

He stood there amused and listening to her. "Grabe sya! Ang strikto ng Love ko. Okay, sige. Uuwi na ako pero.." He pulls her by the waist towards him. "isa pang kiss please. Yung pang-payb takes. Bitin yung isa lang eh. Please..." He gave her his puppy dog eyes look. She laughs and says, "Sige na nga."

He then excitedly leans forward and starts kissing her.
