July 2016:
M awakened at the continuous beeping of her phone's alarm. She felt for it and fumbled to touch the button for the noise to stop.

She stretched, yawned and slowly opened her eyes. She sat up.

"Good morning." She whispered as she glanced on the left side of her bed. She sighed. "Of Course no one's there."

No one has been there. She has not been in a relationship since her last flame broke her heart a year ago, months before she started working for Eat Bulaga. And yet somehow, somewhere in her heart, she always felt the need to check for that someone beside her, like that spot always belonged to him.
