Affirmations

February 15, 10:00pm, M's Condo:

M: *hears the doorbell ring, runs to see who is at the door, smiles, opens it*

R: Good evening, Love. *he was in a light pink polo tucked in his cream colored jeans, kisses M on the cheek*

M: Wow! Formal ah.*laughs, she was in a rouched midnight blue dress * Bakit kailangang ganito suot natin? Saan ba tayo pupunta?

R: *smiles and takes her hand* Let's go. Medyo malayo pa yun.

M: *puzzled but obliges*

During the hour and a half ride to their destination, M was still confused but tried to keep a conversation with R and played music. By midnight, they got to the place.

M: Ah, dito pala ha? Ipapakita mo na naman yung bahay mo noh? *she teases and pinches his cheek*

R: *laughs* Hindi ah. Iba pupuntahan natin.

R drove on a few more meters before finally parking at the village clubhouse. He led M out off the car.

R: Pikit ka muna, Love. May surprisa ako. *smiles giddily*

M: Ikaw talaga, may paandar ka na naman. *closes her eyes while smiling*

They walked into the clubhouse to the pool area.

R: Okay, open your eyes, Love.

M was mesmerized with what she saw. The whole area was covered with white and red rose arrangements. There were capiz lamps hanging all over. The pool was decorated with white floating candles and white carnations. There is a single table set up on the right side where R led her to sit.

R then walked a few steps away from the table when a single spotlight shone on a grand piano on her left front side. R sat in front of it and smiled at her. He started playing and then sang the words:

🎶It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart, without saying a word you can light up the dark🎶

Tears started filling her eyes but the smile stayed on her lips. He went on:

🎶The smile on your face lets me know that you need me. There's a truth in your eyes saying you'll never leave me🎶

He nodded as a signal for her to sit beside him. She walked to the piano and sat beside him with tears trickling down her face. She sat staring at him as he sang on:

🎶You say it best when you say nothing at all🎶, he sang the last line.

She sat quietly just gazing at him lovingly.

R: *turns to her and smiles* Oh, wag na iyak, bibi ko. Nagustuhan mo ba?

M did not respond, instead, she placed her hands on either side of his face looking deep into his eyes before kissing him on the lips. It was a long gentle kiss filled with all the love and gratefulness she was feeling at the moment.

When their lips parted:
R: Happy Monthsary. I love you.

M: I love you too. Happy Monthsary of our first meeting.

He took both her hands and held them in his.

R: We will always celebrate that day when it all started. Thank you for smiling at me that day.

M: Thank you for agreeing to sit on that spot.

R: Thank you for being so naturally charming. *pinches her nose*

M: *smiles* Thank you for being so persevering.

R: Thank you for being so caring. *tucks her hair behind her ear*

M: Thank you for being such a gentleman. *gently squeezes his hands*

R: Thank you for trusting me and choosing to be with me. *looks seriously into her eyes*

M: *smiles* Thank you for showing me everyday that I will never regret that choice.

R: Thank you for loving me.

M: Thank you for loving me more. *smiles as R kisses her gently on her lips*

R: Thank you for giving me the sweetest kisses.*his lips still on hers, kisses her again after his statement*

M:*after their lips parted* Thank you for being so hot. *surprised* "Did I just say that?!", she thought.

R: *grins* Hot pala ah.. *slips his arm around her waist and pulls her closer to him*

M: Ah, I mean ang hot ng weather ngayon. Sayang di ma-swimmingan yung pool sayang yung decorations tsaka wala tayong extra clothes.

R: *pulls her up to sit on his lap, her legs across his so that she is sat facing him* Alam mo, Love, meron akong jacuzzi sa bahay pwede tayong dun lumublob ng sabay *he runs his finger along the side of her neck* habang nagpa-payb takes *kisses the base of her neck, whispers to her ear* and we won't need any clothes at all. *winks* 🙈🙉🙊👫
