3am Thoughts

February 19, around 3am, M's condo:

M: *hears her phone ring, answers sleepily* Hello? Love?

R: I'm at your door, Love, open it.

M:*eyes widen* What??? It's almost 3am! *jumps out of bed and ran to the door, opens it* Hi Lo...

R: *steps in and in one fluid motion grabs M by the waist, drops the bag he's holding, kicks the door close and locks lips with her*

He kissed with such longing and passion as if he hasn't seen her for years. Their lips parted but R kept planting kisses on her cheek, round her face, to her neck, lingering there, his right hand has moved to her nape somehow.

M: *gasping for breath* Wala ka man lang Hi, payb takes ka na agad?

R: *allowing a small gap between his lips and her skin* Hi Love. *continues kissing*

M: Seriously, Faulkerson umayos ka. *stern voice*

R stops at the sound of her voice. He also knows that she's serious when she calls him by his last name.

R: *straightens himself up, kisses M on the forehead* I'm sorry, Love. I just *peck on her cheek* miss *kiss on the other cheek* you *gentle smack on her nose* so much *short tender kiss on her lips*

M: *smiles* I miss you too. Upo muna tayo. Let's talk about your trip. Kumusta Davao?

R: As usual, I love Davao. You know, how we love Davao. *kilay language*

M: *giggles* Ofcourse.

R: Siyempre mabait mga tao, masaya yung show aaaaand *runs to get the bag he dropped by the door* got pasalubong! *dimpled smile*

M: Ang galing talaga ng shokoy ko. *pinches his nose* nagawa mo yung lahat in just a few hours?

R: Siyempre naman, Love, *looks into her eyes* kahit 10 seconds, 5 seconds or 1 second na lang yan basta mapapasaya ka, gagawan ko ng paraan kasi mahal kita. *places one hand on her face* ng higit pa sa buhay ko. I love you.

M: *holds the hand that was on her face* I love you too. *smiles, kisses the hand she's holding*

R: *pulls her in for another long gentle kiss* How did I get so lucky?

M: You're not the only one. We are blessed to have each other.

R: Yes we are.

They look at each other for a few seconds.

R: Love, meron nga pala akong dala. *gets something from the bag* Tada! Couple caps. *places the cap with the letter M on her head and wears the one with the A*

M: Wow! Ang cute! Thank you, Love. Kakasabi mo lang kahapon, meron na agad? Galing mo talaga. *pinches his cheek*

R: Aray naman. *laughs* Ang ganda mo talaga lalo pag naka-cap. May ibang dating eh. Parang...

M: Parang ano?

R: *looks around* Nandyan ba si Dean?

M: Bulacan sya ngayon. Hmmm... Bakit??

R: *pulls out his phone, plays the song and starts singing* 🎶Let's Marvin Gaye get it on..🎶 I'd like that favor returned now, please. *in his "Ako ang na-orient voice*

M: *laughs* Which favor? *she knew exactly which one*

R: What you said on the phone before my flight. *started crawling on top of her* I kept thinking about it the whole night *he whispered in her ear* Remember that?

M: *giggles beneath him* Yes, ofcourse, I remember. *whispers* You know I keep my promises.

R: *chinito kilig* Game. Oh, and Love, can you wear this? *touches the cap she's wearing* Only this.. *kisses her lips*

M: *stands up* Alam mo, you didn't have to ask.

R watched in nervous anticipation as she dances to the music and starts lifting her shirt. 🙈🙈🙈
