Mornings

Random day, 5am, Laguna:

R: *hears his phone ringing, feels his bed side table for his phone, eyes still closed, answers call* Hello?

M: Hello, Love. Good morning.

R: *smiles, eyes barely open* Good morning, Love. Ang aga mo tumawag.

M: Love, it's gym day tapos Laguna ka pa galing baka ma-late ka for EB mamaya. Bakit kasi di ka magpa-alarm?

R: *smiles* Bakit pa ako magpapa-alarm? Mas masarap kaya na ang tawag mo ang panggising every morning. Ngayon pa lang natutupad na ang wish ko na ang boses mo ang una kong marinig sa umaga.

M: Hindi naman boses ko ang una mong naririnig eh yung ringtone ng phone mo. *laughs*

R: Ito naman.. Basta ganun na yun. Ang boses mo ang una kong naririnig sa umaga. Pag asawa na kita wala ng ring. *laughs*

M: Sige, in five years..

R: Tagaaaal.. Dami ko ng ipon. This year na. *laughs*

M: Kulit mo. Sige na, bangon na at mag-gym na. Tawagan na lang ulit.

R: Okay, Love. I love you.

M: I love you more. Bye.

R gets up, takes a shower and grabs his stuff for the gym. He does his usual workout routine.

After his workout, he takes a shower, changes in a white shirt and shorts and drives to this condo.

R opens the door and catches a whiff of the smell of bacon and eggs in the air. He smiles.

He closes the door quietly and tip toes his way to the kitchen.

He finds her there busy brewing some tea with her back against him. He sneaks up behind her, hugs her from the back and kisses her nape.

R: Good morning, Love. *snuggles in the crook of her neck, planting soft fluttery kisses* Ang sarap naman ng ganito baka masanay na ako na nandito ka sa kusina ko araw-araw. I love you, Meng.

M: *giggles* I love you more and more, RJ. *sees him in his gym clothes* Yiiiieee.. Bagong gym. Baho mo nyan. *wrinkles nose*

R: *stands straight* Huy, naligo ako uy. Amuyin mo pa. *raises his arm and shows armpit*

M: *takes a sniff* Mabango nga. *laughs*

R: Kumusta naman si Lily?

M: Okay naman sya. Hindi sya emotional today. *giggles*

R: *raises M's arm and & nuzzles in her armpit* Sarap talaga.

M: *giggles* Ano ba? *lowers her arm* Inaano ka ba?

R: Pwede bang di na mag-breakfast? *hugs M around the waist and trails kisses along her jawline*

M: *giggles, kurot sa burger* Wag ka ngang ano dyan. Kailangan mag-breakfast. Most important meal of the day di ba? Tsaka nagluto ako oh.

R: *plants one soft kiss on her lips* Okay, Love. Luto mo siyempre kakainin ko yan. Lahat. Agad-agad. *grins* Thank you. *kisses M gently on the lips*

M: Ayan. Good boy talaga ng baby boy ko. *pinches R's nose*

M serves breakfast and they enjoy the meal together. After breakfast, M starts clearing the table. R takes the plate she is holding and puts it back on the table.

M: Bakit? Magliligpit na ako.

R: Sandali. Usap muna tayo.

M: *sits back down* Ano yun?

R: *holds M's hand, looks her in the eye* Thank you, Love. Masaya talaga ako. I look forward to many more mornings like this. *smiles, kisses M's hand* I love you.

M: *squeezes R's hand* I'm happy that you're happy. I'm happy to do this little things for you kasi sobra-sobra na din ang ginagawa mo para sa akin. I love you too. *kisses R softly on the lips* Let's clean up?

R: Mamaya na yan. *stands up* Magde-dessert pa tayo. *kilay language, swipes M up in his arms and starts kissing her passionately*
