Us Against The World

August 8, 6pm, near NAIA:

R: *parks the van he rented to drive M to the airport in a secluded spot near the airport, sighs*

M: Heeey... *reaches out her hand to hold his on the steering wheel* Love... Why so gloomy?

R: Malapit na airport. We're almost there, Love. All our bags are ready pero di naman tayo sabay.

M: Keri lang yun, Love. Di talaga pwede masabay eh. You had a shoot scheduled maaga lang natapos kaya nakahabol ka pa sa paghatid. Susunod ka din naman. We were together the whole weekend and yesterday hanggang ngayon so okay lang yun. Sandali lang naman.

R: *takes M's hand and kisses it* Pero, Love... Ang tagal pa. Our flights are scheduled to land in Casblanca five hours apart and the whole flight there di tayo magkasama. Ang hirap kaya lalo kasi sanay na akong andyan ka palagi.

M: Isipin mo na lang, Love. I'm just five hours away. Para ka lang natulog ng isang gabi na wala ako sa tabi mo.

R: *sighs, squeezes M's hand* Even that... I can't do anymore... Kahit na two hours na lang ako matulog sa sarili kong kama, I don't mind basta I want to spend as much time with you kung pwede lahat na ng oras ko kasama ka.

M: But that's not healthy, Love. Some time apart can do us some good. While waiting for your flight you can go to that dinner with your fans we talked about.

R: Are you sure, Love? I mean, after all that happened?

M: These are people who were with you since the start and if they apologized and keep to their promise, I think okay lang naman na you give them a chance to correct their ways.

R: Basta tumupad sila sa usapan na they won't say anything against you anymore. Di bale ako, Love. I can handle it. Wag lang ikaw. Wag ka lang nilang sasaktan sa kahit anong paraan dahil yun ang di ko na talaga mapagbibigyan. *looks M directly in the eyes, holds her hand firmly*

M: *smiles* Naku, ang Fortress of RJ ang haba na ng extension. Love, I'll be alright. I can take care of myself.

R: I know, Love but still... I want to protect you and I will do anything to take care of you.

M: I know. Thank you, Love. *touches R's face with her free hand* I love you.

R: *closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, taking in her words, opens them again, gazes into her eyes and caresses her face* I love you more and more and more, Love. Hintayin mo na lang flight ko. Sabay na tayo.

M: Kung di ko kasama si Nanay at kung may seat pa sa flight mo, why not? Pero it's not thay easy, Love. Besides, maganda din yung ma-miss mo ako ng konti. Di ba nga, absence makes the heart grow fonder? Looking forward to our reunion already. *kilay language*

R: *gives M a small smile still hesitant* Reasonable absence lang, Love ha?

M: Five hours is reasonable right, Love?

R: *sighs* Sige na nga, Love. I will miss you terribly though. *squeezes M's hand*

M: And I will miss you just as much, Love. *brings R's hand to her lips and kisses it*

R: *hastily unbuckles his seatbelt, turns towards M, cradles her face in his hands and kisses her passionately, slipping one hand to her nape, letting his tongue explore her mouth, savoring her taste and breathing in her sweet aroma*

M: *feels like R is sucking the breathe out of her with the intensity of his kiss and she responds with equal fervor, running her fingers through his hair, nibbling on his lower lip and slipping her tongue around the wandering muscle in her mouth*

R: *rests his forehead on hers after their lips parted, flushed and breathless* See you later, Love. *closes his eyes shut and grunts* Why is this so difficult, Love?

M: Ayayay, clingy RJ, don't make this so hard for us. *kisses the tip of his nose then plants a quick peck on his lips* You can call, text, viber, pm or send me a private snap anytime, Love. You won't even miss me that much.

R: That's impossible, Love... na hindi kita gaano mami-miss. I miss you already.

M: Haaaay... Halika nga dito, baby ko. *giggles, lays R's head on her shoulders* Kahit di mo ako kasama palagi, I am always with you. Remember? Ikaw at Ako. You and Me. Us against the world. Ganoin. Whenever you feel that it becomes difficult during our time apart, kung may umaway sa'yo or if someone betrays you, when you feel lonely, go back to this moment and remember that you will always have me.
