May 28, 2:00am, Manila: May 24, 8:00pm, Munich: May 27, 10:00pm, Oman:
R sits in the airport's VIP lounge with his phone in hand, tired but unable to sleep. Eversince he left Como, his cellphone has been a constant resident of his palm, practically inseparable. He would text, call and message her privately on her social media accounts, he communicated with her in every possible way that he can.
He misses her terribly and the image of her shrinking figure smiling and waving at him as his van drives away keeps haunting him. It has been over 12 hours since that last hug and he longs to have her in his arms again. His flight was delayed due to bad weather conditions and had to wait it out.
M who has now traveled to Munich, Germany for her TVC shoot has been keeping him posted. She has been trying to cheer him up by sending pictures (mostly wacky) randomly. She would tell him jokes and laugh over the phone. She was smiling and laughing but he saw from her photographs that her eyes are red and puffy and it's obvious that she has been crying. She would say she's just tired and sleepy or has just woken up but he knows better. Her voice has also started getting hoarse, again probably from all the crying, but what worries him more is that she might be getting down with a cold and he won't be there to take care of her.
R's thoughts are interrupted when his phone starts ringing. It is M calling him on FaceTime.
R: *answers call* Hello Love.
He feels his heart almost jump out as he sees her smiling on his phone screen. He places his hand on his chest, his heart pounding wildly with a crazy mixture of emotions.
M: Hi Love. *waves and beams* Kumusta naman ang delayed mong flight? Inip ka?
R: Hindi naman. Thanks to you. Sa dami ng sinend mong pictures at jokes, hindi talaga ako nainip. *laughs* Tawa ako ng tawa buti na lang mag-isa ako sa lounge at wala nang makakakita baka akalain nababaliw na ako. Well, partly true naman yun.
M: Bakit naman partly true?
R: Partly true. Kasi totoo namang nabaliw na ako sa'yo. *laughs* I'm crazy inlove, crazy over you and I miss you like crazy. *his laughter trailing off on the last 5 words*
M: *smile fades* Sabi ko wag ka nang malungkot di ba?
R: Paanong hindi ako malulungkot? Ang hirap kaya. Miss na miss na kita at halata sa'yo na ganoon ka din naman.
M: Feeling mo. Di naman masyado. *rolls eyes*
R: Kaya ba paos ka na at namamaga yang mata mo sa kakaiyak dahil hindi mo ako masyadong miss?
M: Uy, pagod lang ako di ako umiyak, di kita miss.
M tries to deny her true emotions but the tears in the corner of her eyes betray her. R sees this and he could feel a lump form in his throat and his chest constrict with a sudden burst of sadness and yearning.
R: *touches her faces on his phone screen* I know, Love. Just tell me. Alam ko na pinapasaya mo lang ako. Alam ko na tinatago mo lang lahat ng totoo mong nararamdaman para ituloy ko ang pag-uwi ko kasi kailangan. Alam ko na what you did back in Como. I saw the videos after I left so just tell me, Love. Nami-miss mo na ako at ang totoo gusto mo na kasama mo pa rin ako.
M: *starts sobbing and pouting, her tears flowing uncontrollably* I do. I really do. I miss you so much. *starts breaking down, letting out all the emotions she's been keeping from him reveal themselves freely*
R feels like his heart is being ripped out of his chest with every sob. He watches her cry it out with her face buried in her hands for a few minutes with his own tears streaming down his face and his hand clutched on his aching chest. When she has calmed down a little, she looks back up at the screen.
R: *wipes away his tears, stares at M on his screen* Ssssshhh... Tama na yan, Love. *touches his phone screen as if wiping away M's tears*
M: Mukha na akong palaka dito. Magang maga ang mata ko. *laughs*
R: *laughs with M* Eh ano kung maga mata mo? Sobrang ganda mo pa rin naman. Pareho na tayo nyan, papakilo na natin mga eyebags natin at ibebenta. Dagdag natin sa ipon natin. *laughs louder*
M: Kung pwede lang yun. Di na natin kailangang magtrabaho.
Just then, he receives a message from MT on his other phone telling him that they should prepare for boarding now.
R: Love, mag-ready na daw kami to board. *stares at his phone screen lovingly* I miss you so much. I love you. Please mag-iingat ka dyan at aalagaan mo ang sarili mo. Wag ka na magpupuyat. Mahal na mahal na mahal kita, Love. Tatandaan mo yan. Keep me updated, okay? Ganoon din ako. *kisses his phone screen*
M: *nods her head* Tatandaan ko yan siyempre lagi kong matatandaan. I miss you so much too. *smiles widely, feeling relieved to openly admit it to him* I love you more and more and more. I will post updates. Paalis din kami for dinner. Weird kasi ang taas pa ng araw dito. Mga 9 pm pa ang sunset. Update mo din ako ha? Kung makauwi ka na. I-hug mo ako sa lahat. Mahal na mahal na mahal din kita, Love. *kisses her phone screen*
They make one more wave at their phones and a flying kiss before ending the call.
Just a few minutes later, while waiting for take off, R sees M's snap update and smiles. She is keeping him updated as promised.

******** May 28, 10:45am, Manila: May 28, 4:45am, Munich:
R and the rest of the team arrive in Manila. R immediately checks his phone. It's too early for M to be up at that hour so he decides not to call her and just send her a message that he has arrived in Manila.
Once they have settled in their vehicle, R tweets an update as he has promised M, hoping she sees it as soon as she wakes up.
Four hours later, he finds that she has read his tweet, with her response through her snap chat update greeting him Good Morning in German. He takes a screen cap of it.

He smiles as he stares at her beautiful fresh face, noticing the puffy eyes that tell him how much she is missing him. But even the red plump circles round her eyes, could not hide the radiance her smile brings. The smile that warms his heart.
He kisses his phone screen and holds it against his chest, looking out the window and dreaming of the moment when she comes home and he gets to hold her in a tight warm hug and adoringly kiss her strawberry lips. ❤🇩🇪❤🌹❤🇵🇭❤
