M's Birthday

March 2, Around 10pm, Broadway:

M has just finished rehearsing. She was getting ready to go.

M: *hears phone ring, answers Facetime call* Hi, Shokoy! *waves at the screen*

R: Shokoy ka diyan. Hello, bibi ko. Tapos ka na mag-rehearse.

M: Kakatapos lang. Paalis na nga ako.

R: *seen walking, his car behind him* Good. Tamang-tama lang dating ko.

M: What do you me... Wait, is that??? Nandito ka??? *covers her mouth as she almost screamed in her surprise*

R: Ssssshhhh... Halika ka na. I'll meet you dito sa baba. Bye. I love you.

M: I love you. *ends call*

M looks around, seeing that everyone seems to be busy. She just made a general statement to bid farewell.

M: Bye! I really have to go. *DP started to walk towards her, M signalled her to stop* Wag na kayo mag-alala. I'll be fine. I'll call you later. Bye! *runs downstairs*

R: *sees her running down* Ano sabi nila?

M: Wala sila nasabi. Tara na. Dali!

After a quick smack on the lips, they ran to R's car hand in hand. They get in.

R: *starts the car and drove off*

M: *laughs as she catches her breath* Natawa ako dun. Parang nagtanan lang.

R: *glanced at her* Gusto mo na ba? Itatanan kita talaga.

M: *hampas sa bicep* Sira. Joke lang yun noh. Di naman natin yun kailangang gawin, kung kina Tatay lang wala namang problema.

R: *sighs* I know. *holds M's hand* Pero sabihin mo lang talaga, itatakbo na kita away from all these, from them. *serious expression*

M: Kaya ko, Love. Kaya natin. *pats his hand that was holding hers* Kebs lang yan para sa ekonomiya. *she joked*

R: *laughs* Ayan ang Love ko talaga, not one to be easily put down. *kisses her hand

M: Natutunan ko lang yun sa'yo. Ang emo at nega ko kaya dati. Oo nga pala, Love, bakit nandito ka? Di ba nasa Tagaytay ka kanina?

R: Kanina. *smirks*

M: Uy, bakit ganyan mukha mo ha? May plano ka na naman noh?

R: Secret. *kilig trese-anyos*

M: Ewan ko sa mga pakulo mo, Richard Faulkerson Jr. Sasama din naman ako. *laughs* Okay, kahit ano pa yang balak mo. Padaan muna ng coffee please tsaka sa condo na din to freshen up.

R: Sure. Your wish is my command, my Queen. *kisses her hand again*

M: Sus... Talaga naman.. *pokes R's nose*

R parked at a Starbucks. Only a few people were there. He donned his baseball cap.

R: Wait lang, Love. *kisses M on the cheek*

After a few minutes, R returned with their usual orders.

R: Item 1. Done. Next order of the Queen naman. *grins*

M: *laughs* Kulit mo talaga. Thank you. *quick kiss on the lips*

R: You're welcome. *drives off to her condo*

When they got there. M hurriedly, runs to her room. She grabbed some clothes ang runs back to the bath room.

R: *quietly laughed as Dean made a prank snap chat video to greet his sister's birthday*

D: *laughs* Lagot na naman ako nito pag gumanti si Ate. Okay lang sulit ako sa kakatawa dito.

R: Ang kulit nyo talaga. Ang saya nyo. *laughs*

D: Kuya, gandahan mo yung surprise ni Ate ha? Para makalimutan nya tong ginawa ko. *laughs*

M: *steps out of the bathroom* Dean!!! *runs after D, laughing*

R: *laughing as he watched the two goof around* Love, palusutin mo na muna si Dean. We have to go. *smiles*

M: *grabs her bag from the couch* Humanda ka pagbalik ko, Deanlot! *playfully warns D*

D: Handa na ako. Sige na. Bye! Ingat.

R: Bye, Dean. Salamat.

R&M went on their way.

M: Saan ba tayo talaga?

R: Basta. *they get in the elevator, R pressed the floor*

M: *smiles* Ikaw ha? Bakit di ko alam to

R: Sabi ko sa'yo di ba? Madami ka pang di alam. *kisses her nose*

The elevator stopped and they stepped out. They walked to the venue holding hands with intertwined fingers. M was amazed with what she saw. They were at the pool area. The place was filled with pink and yellow carnations, her favorites. The place was lit with capiz candle lamps set on the floor. There were white and red rose petals scattered in the pool.

R: *catches her eyeing the pool* Di ko na pinuno para pwede mag-swim kung gusto mo. Halika na.

He led her to a dinner table set up where Mama Ten stood.

MT: Happy Birthday, Meng.

M: Thank you, Ma. Dinamay ka pala nitong si Tisoy sa pasabog nya.

MT: Lagi naman. Sanay na ako. *laughs* Oh, iwan ko na kayo.

M: Thank you, Ma. Dun na po kayo sa unit. May food dun si Dean.

MT: Sige.

MT left the two alone.

R: Halika na. Kain muna tayo. *smiles*

They sat down for dinner. R cued in the violinist to play their favorite songs as they ate. They had a lovely time, chatting and feeding each other. They hummed along from time to time with the music. When their theme song started playing, R asked M to dance.

They stood and started dancing. A video played on a projector screen by the pool. M's eyes were filled with tears as she saw their memories flash on the screen. Her heart was overwhelmed with love.

M: Pa... Paano?? *she couldn't speak through her sobs*

R: *held her close* Para sa'yo lagi akong may oras. I made that for you para maalala mo lagi ang bawat oras na magkasama tayo. Happy Birthday. I love you so much. *touches M's face* You know I will do anything and everything for you.

M: I know, Love. I am so happy. You have always known how to make me feel so special. You are all I need to be happy. Ikaw lang, sapat na. I could never ask for more dahil nandito ka na sa buhay ko. I love you.

And with that they shared one long kiss filled with passion, amidst the romantic set up, under the light of the moon, surrounded by beautiful music and memories of their love. 💕❤💕💏
