March 20, around 8:30pm, an exclusive beach resort in Batangas:

M was just walking out of the restroom of the restaurant when someone grabs her arm and pulls her in a tight embrace. She closes her eyes and felt his hug. She didn't have to see his face. She knows it's him. The scent, the feel of strong protecting arms around her, the warmth of his chest and the gentle beating of his heart. It's her RJ.

M: I'm so glad you're here, Love.

R: Kahit nasaan ka pa, pupuntahan kita.

M opens her eyes and gazed into his.

M: I love you.

R: I love you more.

M: Bakit nandito ka? May flight ka pa bukas ng maaga.

R: Oo nga. Nakahanda naman lahat ng gamit ko basta pag gusto maraming paraan. Kaya nandito ako. Gusto ko eh. *smiles*

M: Ang Love ko talaga. *smiles, presses a quick kiss on R's lips*

R: *smiles at M* Halika na muna. Dinner muna tayo. Andyan din sina Dad.

M: *nods and slips her fingers in between his as they walk to their families*

R&M and their families had a lovely time at dinner. Everyone got along so well. They laughed and exhchanged banters while enjoying a delectable meal. Even if this was probably, just the third time that their families got together like this, everyone was already very comfortable and familiar with each other.

After dinner, they all go back to the hotel. R&M ask if they could go out for a walk. Their parents agree.

R: Thank you po.

M: Thank you, Nay. Thank you, Tito.

Nanay: Sige na. Bukas na ang lipad ni Tisoy at isang linggo na naman kayong di magkikita. Di pa ba ako papayag na magkasama kayo ngayon kahit sandali?

Daddy: Sige, mga anak, dito lang kami, usap-usap. Lakad na. Mauna na din kami nina Mommy umuwi pag nainip na. May sasakyan ka naman, RJ.

R&M hug them and go on their way. They ride a golf cart to the beach. The beach is already isolated at that hour. They are the only ones there.
R: *takes M's hand as they walk along the sand* Happy ka ba?

M: *smiles* Ice breaker question mo talaga yan. *pokes R's dimple* Oo naman. Happy ako. Kaya lang...

R: *leads M to sit on one of the lounge chairs* Kaya lang?

M: Kaya lang siyempre medyo malungkot din kasi mami-miss kita talaga pag alis mo.

R: *cups M's face in his hands, looks deep in her eyes, sights* Ako din. Sobra-sobrang mami-miss kita. I love you so much. *kisses M gently on the lips*

M: *after the kiss* Wag na tayong malungkot. Lalo ka na, you have a show there. Maraming tao ka dapat pasayahin. You should keep your spirits up. *smiles at R*

R: *caresses her face* Okay, Love. Paano ka naman?

M: Hello?? Beach to oh. *laughs* Bonding with the family, update ng blog. Kakaririn ko yan at siyempre pinaka kakaririn ko ang tulog talaga. *both laugh*

R lies down on the chair and gently pulls M to lay beside him. They lay on their sides facing each other, R's arm serving as M's pillow.

R: Haaay... Mami-miss talaga kita ng sobra. One week din na hindi kita matititigan ng ganito. *gazes on her face, brushing her hair with his hand* One week na di kita mayayakap ng ganito. *pulls M in for a tighter embrace* One week ko ding mami-miss yung napakabango mong amoy *buries his face on her neck and makes big loud sniff, M giggles* at *looks at M's face again* One week din kita hindi maki-kiss ng ganito. *kisses M's lips lovingly but with more intensity*

M: *catching her breath* Ako din naman. Sobrang mami-miss kita. *sighs* Buti pa ngayon i-enjoy muna natin tong time na magkasama tayo. *takes her phone, plays music from her playlist*

They start singing to the song at one point they got up and chased each other on the beach. They sat on the sand and exhchanged stories, made jokes and laughed contentedly.

After an hour, R leads M back to the chair and lays her down with him. He wraps his arms around her as looked up at the stars in the sky.

R: Kahit gaano naman ako kalayo, nandito ka lang sa puso ko, lagi kitang dala diyan.

M: *looks up at R* Lumiit na nga talaga ako. *both laugh as they remember that joke* One week lang naman. Lilipas lang din yun ng mabilis parang Dubai. May FaceTime naman at SnapChat, ang social media ng true feelings. *laughs as she remembers R's remark* As much as I would miss you, I refuse to spend the rest of the night in a sentimental mood.

R: Tama ka, Love. Let's not spend the night in a sentimental mood. Let's spend it in a calculating mood. *kilay language*

M: Hala sya. Bilangan na naman ba? Hanggang saan aabot ang bilang mo ngayon? Otso? Wampipti? Tupipti?

R: Bahala na kung saan makarating. I have reserved a room. My bags are already in my car. Dito na ako manggagaling papuntang airport. That gives us *checks his watch* three hours malayo-layo ang aabutin nating bilang dun. *in his "Ako ang na-orient" voice* Umpisahan na natin. *runs his fingers down her hair and rests it on her nape then pulls her in for a passionate kiss*

And there under the light of a thousand stars, in the middle of the long beach stretch, with the cool ocean breeze blowing and the sound of the waves and music in the background, they start spending their time together kissing and cuddling and showing each other how much they love and would miss each other before going to their room to finish counting. 🙈🙊🙉
