You would think an eighteen year old would be out partying in a club after their graduation ceremony, or at a dinner with their parents. Well my friends and I had a different idea. Camping.

Not going against my parents or anything well....cause I couldn't.

Losing them at fifteen under so called, "mysterious" circumstances, definitely took a toll on me. I'll admit, if it weren't for these three girls, I would probably still be in a deep dark hole somewhere in my subconscious.

"LIV GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE! WE'RE READY TO LEAVE AND WE WILL LEAVE YOU!" I heard Courtney shout, breaking me out of my daze.

"DAMN COURT, CALM YOUR TITS!" I let out a small laugh as I shouted back, mimicking her tone. I grabbed my toothbrush finally and threw it in the bag. I started rushing down the stairs after taking one last glance at the mirror, trying to smooth down my unruly blonde strands. I was greeted by three semi-annoyed faces, to which I gave my best innocent smile. Court was throwing her chestnut brown hair up in a bun in the driver's seat while Sierra fiddled with the radio, flipping through the stations. Jade just looked bored while playing on her phone in the backseat.

"Get in loser, we're going camping," Jade said as she finally looked up from her phone, tying back her teal hair into a low ponytail. I laughed and threw my bag into the trunk of the Mini Cooper before hopping in next to her.

The car ride was long and boring. Jade yelled at Sierra to turn up the radio at some point when a One Direction song came on.

"AND THAT'S WHAT MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL!", she sang, more like screamed, out the window as we drove. The rest of us sang along as well, we weren't as big of a fan of them as Jade was. She was high-key obsessed.

The rest of the car ride basically went like this:

"I'm bored!"

"I sneeze faster then you're driving Court"

"HEY! WHY'D YOU CHANGE THE SONG?!"

"Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts her cake hole"

"We're almost there"

"Do you think a bear would like gooseberry pie?"

"I'M HUNGRY!"

"Liv, the bag of food is literally right next to you"

"NO ITS' NO-NEVERMIND!"

"LIV! My ears and don't eat it all!"

That was basically how all car rides in the car would go. A true trip in our household.

When we finally arrived, I was the first out of the car. We gathered all our stuff from the trunk after stopping for a moment and marveling at the nature that surrounded us. Then the hike up began, not without some irritated comments about mosquitoes.

Some hours later......

When we finally reached the camp site, it's safe to say we were out of breath. And the breathtaking view that stood before us, didn't help our cause. A force of nature, both beautiful and brutal. Peaceful from a distance but near deafening up close. The water cascaded down the grey rocks, creating a curtain which drew me in. It was just begging for me to look behind it and I couldn't figure out why. I tried to shake off the feeling as I dropped my bag to the ground.

"I'm..exhausted", I heard Sierra say before collapsing to the ground.

A resounding "me too" was heard as we all copied her actions. We just sat there, in silence, marveling at our surroundings once more.

After we regained our energy, we set up the tents and attempted to get a fire going. By the time we actually got it started, the sun was already retreating. We were all sat around the fire when Jade broke the silence.

"Okay so, what now?", I thought for a second, then put a creepy smile on my face to try and freak them out.

"Let's tell scary stories!", I said excitedly after noticing their widened eyes. We each took turns telling a story and by the time I was in the middle of mine, I heard a twig snap.

"What was that?", Sierra was visibly shaking, as she gripped onto Courtney's forearm.

"I'm sure it was just a squirrel", Jade spoke up, trying to convince her to calm down.

We all brushed it off and cast it aside as we continued telling stories, until Jade disappeared.

"W-Where's J-Jade?", asked a very frightened Courtney. Before I could even try to make sense of what was happening, Sierra also vanished... into thin air. My eyes were probably as wide as the moon that currently hung above us.

We both jumped up. Before we could even make a run for it, a blur went past me and Court was also gone.

I was standing alone, the only sound to be heard was the water crashing down from the waterfall. The woods were deadly silent. My heart was beating louder than the water infront of me. Fuck, think Liv...

My eyes snapped in the direction of the sudden movement coming from behind the thick leaves to my right. My heart kicked into high gear as five bodies emerged into the clearing.

They were all ridiculously attractive and it caused my heart to go even faster, if that was even possible. Focus Liv, they could be murderers for all you know... I took a defensive stance as they all lined up infront of me.

None of them said a word and I was too stunned to form a sentence, so we all stood in silence. Then something stood out to me as we continued our stare down.

Were their eyes....purple?
