Olivia's POV

I was sitting on the couch, aimlessly on my laptop when Harry came storming in. He was fuming to the point I was surprised steam wasn't coming out of his ears…and Harry's almost never angry.  It freaked me out to say the least. Wait what is he holding...?

"WHEN WERE YOU PLANNING ON KILLING US?!", Okay WHAT?!

"WHAT?! I WOULD NEVER!", He just looked angrier. I was confused beyond reason at this point.

"YOU HAD THIS IN YOUR ROOM!", He said while holding up the remnants of the hair brush I broke this morning....Ohhh...

"What does my hair brush have to do with anything?!", He looked just as confused for a second, but it went back to angry pretty fast. Damn. Bad timing but he looked hot when he was mad..

"This is a stake!", Okay. I admit, it did look a bit like as stake, but I hope he would know better than that!

"Dude. That is my HAIR BRUSH,that I BROKE, this MORNING!", A look of realisation dawned over his face. FINALLY!

"Ohh.umm..sorry", He apologetically stood there, still holding the broken pieces. Right...cause I'm just supposed to accept being accused of being a vampire murderer.

"Sorry don't cut it, Styles", I said walking away from him. When I heard his footsteps trailing behind me, I took off in a sprint.  I started to hear him zipping. Such a cheater. Fucking vampire speed.

I ran until I ran straight into Zayn. I jumped into his arms and tried my best baby voice.

"Zaynie, Harry's being a big asshole!", I said while pouting. He laughed at me then Haz came running up to him.

"Don't....Liv..I'm ...Sorry", I groaned.

"Sorry don't cut it!"

"Well what do you want me to do?"

"I don't know!", Zayn just looked lost, still holding onto me protectively.  After we filled him in, he pratically needed stitches.

"Harry what the hell?!", He said whilst throwing him a glare, trying his best to stifle the laughs that kept slipping out. Harry chuckled and flushed pink from embarrassment, before walking away to meet the boys. It was actually quite cute.

"Zayn, can I ask you some questions about vampires?", I randomly blurted out. Realizing that we were just standing in the hallway. But I mean, i was curious about some things.

"Sure! Only if I can ask you some questions too," I nodded. I thought he was going to put me down but he simply kept walking with me in his arms. I didn't realize where he was taking me till he walked up the attic stairs. He put me down and help open the window for me.

I climbed out onto the roof, steadying myself. I spoke up when he took a seat next to me.

"Okay, what's it like living forever?"

He looked lost in thought for a bit then answered.I could almost feel the pain he tried to mask behind his eyes as he spoke. "Well, it's not easy watching your human friends get old and die, but it's kind of nice", I nodded. Super casual...

"Last question. Would you ever consider being human again?"

"It depends"

"On what?"

"Who I'm doing it for", he was looking directly into my eyes, the violet hues that swirled and mixed with his dark ones has me speechless.

"Okay, my turn to ask you", he continued. I was too busy getting lost in his eyes.

"What would be the first thing you do if you got to be a boy for a day?", Really Zayn?

"Kick myself in the balls to see how bad it hurts", I laughed out and so did he. His laugh almost startled me, he was genuinely laughing. The way his nose crinkled...Then he started again. I could literally swim in that voice...

"What's it like to have a normal life?", I laughed, almost falling off the roof, then answered.

"Zayn, my life is the light years away from normal. I got kidnapped by five pop star vampires, I live in a mansion in the middle of the woods, and to top it off I can probably never see my friends again," He nodded, scratching the back of his head. He held a bit of remorse in his eyes and I could see the guilt etched into his face. I threw him a small smile.

"Aright, last question. Would you ever consider being a vampire?"

"It depends"

"On what?"

"Who I'm doing it for", I mocked him. Then I realized.

"Hey, you asked three questions and I only asked two!"

"Okay, you can ask one more question", I smirked.

"What would you do if I asked you to kiss me right now?", he immediately leaned in and smashed his lips onto mine without hesitation. He laid me down against the roof tiles and engulfed me in his scent. It was smokey, with a hint of mint. The familiar heat rose within me and it was almost comforting.

"Does that answer your question?", he said breathlessly. I nodded then giggled. This really might not be half bad....
