Travis' POV
Love. It makes or breaks us. It changes who we are and we change when we are fortunate enough to be in the presence of love, whether we are willing or not. Oliva Summers. Love is going to make hard choices for her and I and the others. I trust that she will make the right choice and not suffer. I wish the best for her but I cannot help but grieve for what was once there.
It was once when I knew this beautiful young flower. I watched her grow from a distance and I always protected her. No harm was ever to cone her way. It may seem odd that I of all people want to protect Olivia, but I guess not all that is dark is bad.
Like I said, love changes who you are. The part of your brain that deals with emotions is the worst part I think, because no matter how hard you try it will always make you do something stupid out of love. I did just that and now look where I am. Among the many people cast into the dark.
What do we know about life and living if we have never lived a full life. If all we do is sit around and wait on the impending call of death, have we lived? Technically yes but in reality no. I feel bad for Olivia, she was always a traveler and the adventurer. She wanted to see the world and I wanted to show her. But things happened and love messed it all up to the point of no return. Or so I thought.
Olivia's POV
Yessssss! Who's the awesome new witch bitch in town? This girl! I got the book open! Liam wasted no time trying to understand the text but unfortunately only a witch could read the writing, as he was visibly frustrated. It seemed spelled, considering I could read it plain as day, probably to keep wandering eyes from sneaking a peek.
"You wont be able to read it Li, I think it's spelled, only a witch can read it." He seemed shocked but he took a step back.
My eyes scanned the pages and they all seemed to automatically translate into English in my head. Okay let's see here, werewolves, vampires, witches, hybrids. Yup, just another average day. Aright Liv, focus you need to do this for Louis.
Ah Ha!
" It's says here that if we want to revive a vampire doped up on Linchen is to........"
