The sound of screaming fans shook the walls of her dressing room filling her with the stage fright she felt before every concert. Silently she whispered words of comfort to herself. All she had to do was make it through the concert and then take things from there. Just one thing at a time.

"Miss Voca." She looked to see one of the backup singers standing in the doorway. "It's almost time."

"Thanks Katie." She smiled weakly. Katie smiled back and went to her own room. One she shared with three other girls. Even though her parents never let the same girls sing backup she made an effort to always learn their names. It was the least she could do. With one final sigh and a last glance at the mirror she calmed her features and donned the mask that was Rose Voca, female singer and rising star.

From the side of the stage she could see the stadium was jammed pack, standing room only. The lights illuminating the stadium shut off and she made her way onto the stage to her position, backup singers just behind her. The lights on the stage flashed on revealing her to the crowd, the screams were deafening.

"Hello Vale!" She screamed back. On que the lights dimmed and the music began.

I'd go beyond our fighting borders
If you needed that from me
I'd march with decorated soldiers
To get your pretty eyes to see

Well, I would bring your morning coffee
Then I'd wrap you up in me
I'd kiss your belly and your shoulders
Cover blankets on our feet

The crowd roared with approval which made her feel sick. They didn't even know that not a single song she sang her entire career was her own. This one was written by some other girl who didn't have enough connections to become famous. The song continued.

So slow down
There's some kind of blessing here
But you have missed your cue

So keep your eyes set on the horizon
On the line where blue meets blue
And I would let that silver lining
Where I know it'd find you soon

Because I have sailed a 1000 ships to you
But my messages don't seem to make it through

Well, I would bring your morning coffee
Then I'd wrap you up in me
I'd kiss your belly and your shoulders
Cover blankets on our feet

But slow down
There's some sort of blessing here
But you've gone and missed your cue

So keep your eyes set on the horizon
On the line where blue meets blue
And I would let that silver lining
Where I know it'd find you soon

'Cause I have sailed a 1000 ships to you
But my messages don't seem to make it through

Well, money and fame they are a losing game
And I know those pretty actresses
Are calling your name
But I'll be here waiting
I'll always be the same
If you'd let me in again

Dadadadada X7 she turned to face the backup girls who were all smiling proudly. They felt so special being able to sing on stage with her. They didn't even sing actual words but it was enough for them. She wanted to throw up or run screaming but the training her parents put her through kept her in character.

So keep your eyes set on the horizon
On the line where blue meets blue
And I would let that silver lining
Where I know it'd find you soon

Keep your eyes set on the horizon
On the line where blue meets blue
And I would let that silver lining in
Where I know it'd find you soon

'Cause I have sailed a 1000 ships to you
But my messages don't seem to make it through

The crowd roared with a frenzy that bordered a mad stampede of Grimm. Breathing heavily, Rose felt the same jitters she always felt when she wasn't singing. Silently she begged for the music for the next song to begin.
