((Quick Note: thanks for so many reads! Oh my goshness....you are all so awesome!! ^_^ Another part coming tonight, hopefully! Tiffany will be...out of the picture soon, don't fret!! 😈))

Today was the day. Ever since breakfast, Max and Tiffany were begging you to go out on a mission. They have been training them to fight and teaching them about the wasteland for over a month. They complained about not feeling like a part of the team. So today you were going to take them out and trade some things with neighboring communities.
Usually you didn't like to visit the other communities, but its the safest trip you could think of. You have seen how well they both could fight- in fact Max was a great soldier- but you didn't want to rush through their training.

You were grabbing all the gear you'd need and met Max and Tiffany downstairs. You decided that Tiffany would be more friendly than both of you so she would do most of the talking. Each of you had a gun and a knife of sorts. Soon, you three were at the door and everyone was wishing you luck.

You three had a bag of things to trade with other communities and bottle caps in there too. You set off and made your way toward Diamond city. On the way you killed some radroaches (big cockroaches...like real big..) but you didn't encounter too many bad things.

You soon approached the big entrance to Diamond City. You have been in only once before when you were 16, but you were sure the mayor would remember you. With a show like you put on last time you were here...of course he would.

You pushed the call button on the box, and a voice responded promptly. "State your name and business in Diamond City."

"I'm (y/n), I'm here to trade goods today." You said. There was a moment of silence and you checked the sky for the time. It looked to be about noon. The box crackled then the voice spoke again.

"You may enter." The man spoke. You stepped back and waited for the large door to raise up. On the other side you saw the familiar face of the Diamond City Mayor. He grinned. Definitely not the reaction you were expecting.

"Hello there (y/n)-"

"General. I go by General." You corrected him. The three of you walked closer and the door lowered behind you guys.

"Oh, of course. What do I owe the honor, general?" He chuckled dryly.

"I'm here with some new recruits, showing them the ropes of trading." You explained. He raised his eyebrows in fascination at you.

"Really? How interesting. Will you be staying the night?" He asked.

"Preferably not." You answered.  He straightened his tie and looked over at Max and Tiffany.

"Well, welcome to Diamond City! Hope you enjoy your time here." He smiled, turning to walk away. Ugh, what a phony.. You thought.

The three of you walked into the city and went to every stand. Buying ammo, a few weapons, some scraps to build with, and sold some chems. The sun began setting once you all were done bartering so you all sat down for a meal.

"Should we really travel when its dark?" Tiffany asked.

"We could, it will be a little more dangerous though. More susceptible to an ambush." You explained.

"I think we should go. We have three people. We'll be fine." Max said. You nodded hesitantly. On your way back to the entrance, you passed the little church. The pastor was standing outside and noticed you.

"Wait, wanderers. It's dangerous out there. Stay in the church for tonight and leave in the morning." He offered.

"Thank you sir, but I think we'll be fine." Max said.

"Wait, you're right. I don't like these streets in the daylight. Maybe we should stay.." You said. The pastor looked pleased, however Max did not. You could tell he was anxious about it. You didn't have much time to ask him though, as the pastor ushered you all inside. Inside, he gave you all some blankets and pillows to use and you laid down on some of the benches.

Max kept insisting that someone should stay up and keep watch, but you told him nothing would happen. The cities' security was great and you were all safe. However, you agreed to stay up for a while after they slept to insure nothing would jump out of the shadows. He was probably reading the paper "publik occurrences". They have tons of rumors in that newspaper.

After a couple hours, you drifted off and pulled the blanket close to you. You didn't have many dreams, just peaceful darkness. You were so deep into your slumber that it was hard to react when hands landed on you. Two hands grabbed your head and two grabbed your ankles.

You immediately tried thrashing about and kicking. You heard Max and Tiffany struggling too, but the room was very dark. You managed to stagger your opponents and they dropped you, but you couldn't move far before another person covered your mouth and grabbed you from around your torso. Just then, a bag was tied over your head and you were totally blinded.

Your heart was pumping so fast, adrenaline rushing throughout your body. You did everything you could to fight, but it just wasn't enough.
