Everyone was acting weird, so you approached Ross after breakfast.

"Hey Ross." He turned abruptly and offered a nervous smile.

"H-hey general.." He stuttered. You narrowed your eyes at him.

"Look, I think something weird is going on. Everyone is kinda ignoring me." You huffed, crossing your arms to prove your point.

"Oh, ya know...that's weird. I don't know why they're doing that..?" He said, but it sounded like a question at the end. His eyes danced around the room in hopes of avoiding eye contact with you.

"Are you sure you don't know what's going on?" You pressed. He looked back to you and shrugged.

"Nah I really don't know, but maybe you should ask Adam..ok bye!" He said, turning and rushing off. You stared after him, still a confused look plastered on your face.

"Hey General." Adam's voice rang out. You turned around to face him and he smiled.

"Hey, why is everyone acting strange?" You asked. He laughed and tried to stop a grin from growing across his face.

"Don't worry about it. Ross is always nervous around people.." Adam chuckled.

"But it's not just him. Barney, Red, and Max are also acting weird. Avoiding me, having conversations behind my back..." You said.

Adam shifted on his feet and scratched his head. Again, it was obvious he was keeping his grin from growing any larger.

"Nah, everything's chill." He nodded. You sent him a suspicious glance once more and he cleared his throat.

He straightened his posture, and wiped the grin off his face.

"Look, I'd tell you if something was wrong. Just relax." He said. His face was serious, and you sighed.

"Alright. Fine." You turned away and walked off. You knew they were hiding something from you but it seemed like no one would tell you what.

You decided to go hunting for a bit, and asked around if anyone wanted to go. Everyone said they were busy with something. Even Red.

"Come on, I'm just going out for an hour. Please come with me." You begged him.

"Uhh, sure I guess I can go. Just let me tell Alesa we're going." He replied. You agreed, went to get the guns and other supplies.

Soon, Red met you by the door. You handed him a rifle, and off you went. You both searched for everything, from insect meat to brahmin meat. You searched inside homes, and on the streets. You both hunted until the sun was about to set.

You gathered up all the meat you found and began walking back. You got to the Tower just before the sky got dark. Red seemed nervous the whole time and kept muttering something about "being late". You knocked on the door and turned to him.

"Red, what's wrong? Are you going to turn into a pumpkin?" You asked snidely. He chuckled quietly, then returned to frowning. It took a few minutes more until someone came to the door.

"Hey, come on in." Adam smiled. The lights in the Tower were all dimmed and a trail of candels led from the door up the stairs. You gave Adam and Red a questioning glance.

"Maybe you should follow the candles.." Red spoke, smirking like a mad man. You shrugged and dropped your bag of meat on the ground.

As you continued up the stairs, you heard a violin begin to play. You reached the floor and walked over to the living space with couches and a tv (that didn't work). You saw Max standing, facing the big, newly put in windows. The view of the commonwealth was beautiful. Alesa was standing in the corner, playing a soft tune on a violin (you didn't know she played).

You walked closer and cleared your throat. Max turned around and gave a charming smile. You thought you could hear your heart melt. Was he wearing a suit? Had he organized this whole thing? What was he pulling out of his pocket? Was that a small box??

Max motioned you closer, so you approached as he got down on one knee. He stared into your glistening eyes and opened the small box in his hands. Sparing a glance at the ring, he looked back up at you.

"(Y/f/n), you are the love of my life. I want to spend eternity with you. Will you marry me?" He asked. He stared up at you in anticipation, waiting patiently for your response.

Tears welled up in your eyes and you bit back a sob of happiness. You swallowed hard, and took a deep breath.

"Yes...yes, I'll marry you." You smiled. He stood up and wrapped his arms around you. He pulled back and kissed you for  while, then slipped the sparkly ring onto your finger. You stared at it in awe, then hugged him again.

Clapping was heard as Adam, Alesa, Red, Ross, Barney and the two kids came out to congratulate you both. That night you ate a celebratory dinner, followed by dancing to music. Everything was perfect.
