You were all very happy to see the Tower. The last few days were exhausting, and you all wanted to get comfortable in your beds again. Alesa and Adam were so happy to see
Mason again too. Along with the rest of the group of course.

You couldn't keep Max off your mind. You loved dancing with him the other day. You wondered if it really meant something. Then you thought about how Max effected you. Were you really becoming softer because of him? He made you feel all the emotions you shut off long ago. They were beginning to surface now because of him.

Pushing the mushy feels aside, you kept walking. Feeling happy again about being home. But that happiness turned quickly into fear when you realized the door was open. That definitely was NOT how you left it.

"Guys, formation." You said, turning serious in a second.

Cautiously you pushed the door aside and walked in. Adam and Max were at your side, guns ready. Doors were open, chairs over turned and everything looked a mess.

Max broke formation and went into his room and you followed quickly. He was staring at something and after closer inspection you found the vase with his wife's ashes broken and spilled on the floor.

Max turned around, an all new expression on his face. He joined formation again, his jaw clenched tight. You didn't say anything in fear of setting him off. You all went upstairs and searched the floor. Not finding anything except the fridge was empty. Soon, a bang was heard from upstairs.

You went up, the guys close at your sides and found 3 men.

"Hey! This ain't your home!" You yelled. ((That was probably a dumb thing to say...)) They turned and started to attack. The guys and you also attacked. Once you quickly killed one, you turned to Max. He was stabbing the dead man.

Killing with a precision you have never seen from him before. He was pissed, and that made him deadly. It scared you to see him like this. It's a good thing he was on your side though. Soon the men were taken down and you replaced all the items they took.

No one said anything after that. You all just sat around and stared at each other or the floor. It was pretty akward. You didn't know whether you should confront Max or just leave it, so you decided not to bring it up.

You went over to your writing desk and pulled out a new page. On the top you wrote: Commonwealth Journal, Entry 3.

You started writing. You wrote about everything that was on your mind. All about the factory, and everything that happened over the last few days. Writing about it helped clear your mind. It also helped you sort through the emotions you felt inside. ((I totally want to make up some Fallout 4 poems now. XD Lol, seriously.)) After storing the papers in a drawer, you heard a knock on the door. You opened it and saw Adam.

"Hey, can I come in?" He asked. You nodded and opened the door more so he could enter. He sat down and you took a seat across from him after closing the door.

"So Alesa told me about what you and Max did last night." He spoke, gazing at you. You sighed and looked out the window.

"Yeah, look. I don't know if Max is ready to move on just yet after what happened to his wife." His smile dropped for a minute, then returned.

"It sure looked like you were the only one on his mind." He smirked.

"I understand you want to play matchmaker, ok? But If there is anything between the two of us, I just want to take it slow." You replied. Adam nodded.

"I can respect that. But the big bad wolf...leader of the pack, falling for a little piggy?" He mused, laughing at the irritated expression on your face.

"Adam...please. We aren't animals." You rolled your eyes. He started laughing harder until tears formed in his eyes. You glared at him.

"Not yet...but I'm sure he's a...tiger in the bedroom." He continued to laugh, an arm around his torso. Your faced went red with embarrassment and you stood up. You left your office and continued upstairs. You were so flustered you didn't see Max until you bumped into him.

"Oof, sorry Max." You muttered, glancing up at him.

"It's fine. You feeling okay?" He asked, tucking a bit of hair behind your ear. You were so close to him....

"Y-yes. Fine thanks." You replied. You quickly snapped back to your senses and took a step back.

"Are you sure, you look warm." He pointed out.

"Tch, you calling me hot?" You asked, grinning and looking back at him. You both laughed and he ran a hand through his hair.

"Hey, how's your shoulder been healing?" He asked. You smiled.

"So far so good." You replied.

"Good to hear." He smiled. Now your face was back to its normal color, and you weren't a blushing mess. The rest of the night, you avoided Adam. Things were peaceful among the group finally. You made friends with another settlement. Everything was shaping up well.

Over the next few years ((yes, time skip because I can..)) Mason grew up and had everyone in the tower wrapped around his finger. You began teaching him simple self defense techniques, but wouldn't let him go out on any missions. Someone always stayed in the tower with him. Nothing big or eventful really happened over the next three years, but you and Max grew ever closer. He began to take Ross's place as your left hand man. But Adam would always be your right hand man despite all the teasing he threw at you.

Just when you thought everything was perfect, and things were looking up...Red showed up at your door.
