The Truth

Lucy's POV~

We had just came back from Edolas and no one else seemed to notice how long we had been there.

The guild was back to being as sad and depressing as when we left for Edolas. That's it! I got to know!

I walked up to MiraJane, who was working at the bar.

MiraJane's POV~

Lucy walked up to me. She sat in a chair and put her hands behind her head.

"So Mira, what's up?" She asked. "Nothing much." I said, smiling weakly. "So why is everyone so sad? And where is Natsu?" She continued. I sighed. She deserves to know the truth.

"Have you ever heard of a girl named Sue Dragneel?" I asked. "No, but wait! Dragneel? As in Natsu kinda Dragneel?!" She shouted.

"Sue was Natsu's non-blood related sister. They were both raised by the dragon Igneel. They were the best of friends. Inseparable. Fairy Tail had never seen such and amazing duo. She became an S-Class wizard by the age of thirteen." I continued. "Thirteen?! I'm sorry I keep interrupting you. Go on." She said.

"She was also a model for Sorcerer Weekly. She was actually the one who inspired me to become a model. As for your question about Natsu, he is probably at the church." I said. "Wow! She sounds like such an amazing person! I would love to meet her! Wait, why would Natsu go to a church?" She asked.

"Well one day, Natsu and Sue went on a mission. And well you could say something went wrong and Sue died. That is why Natsu is at a church. It's been three years since the death of Sue Dragneel."

"Oh." She said looking down. "I thought Natsu was looking down lately. I had no idea."

"Hey this is nothing compared to after the death. When Natsu came home without Sue, he was devastated for months. And then one day he lightened up. He said that Sue was fine. And that he would see her again. I think the grief drove him to insanity." I said. "Poor Natsu." Lucy said.

Lucy's POV~

Natsu walked into the guild. I walked up to him and put my hand on his shoulder. "Natsu I heard about you sister. MiraJane told me. I'm sorry she died on that mission. But I'm sure there was nothing you could have done to save her. If there was you would have." I said.

"Died.....what did MiraJane tell you exactly?" Natsu asked. "Well she just said that Sue died on a mission. She didn't say how." I said. "Oh." He sighed. "Would you like know?" "If it's not too hard for you." I said.

Natsu looked ahead. "We went on a mission. And once we finished, we were about to go home. And suddenly a black dragon came and was about to destroy the city. She held the dragon off for two hours, while Happy and I evacuated the city. And as she was about to attack it, it got to her."

"Two hours! She held a dragon off for TWO HOURS!!! That's amazing!" I said. But by the time I looked up Natsu had gotten in a fight with Gray. Those two...

Then I looked over and saw Juvia. She wasn't obsessively stalking Gray like usual. She was sitting at a table looking very sad. "Hey Juvia. What's wrong?" I asked. "It's the anniversary of the death of Sue." She said.

"You mean you knew her! How is that possible?! I thought you just joined the guild?" I said. "Yes Juvia knew her. Sue helped Juvia see what it meant to live life. Juvia met her when she was still in a guild called Devil's Tongue. Juvia's guild kidnapped Sue to ask her questions and even while she was a prisoner, she became friends with me." She said. "Wow that Sue girl really sounds like she was an amazing person!" I said. "She was."

Suddenly something blew a hole through the wall of the guild. What the heck?

Hey hey!! So I'm sorry if this chapter was boring cause it was kinda like one of those recap episodes in the anime. But I felt like I had to include Lucy's reaction to Sue and everyone's point of views on her.
