I've literally gotten this statement my entire life.
I've literally feel self conscious. Or what ever. About this subject.

I get shit because I don't look like a stereotype of an emo but shit I can't make myself an anerexic, white girl with big hair.
Like my favourite bands and PTV , Mayday parade, and BMTH.
I've felt so isolated from that group that I just stop trying to be who I am.
My mom used to yell at and say you're trying to be something you're not but in reality this is me.
I used to jam out to BOTDF when I was 9. I used to sneak and wear some thick as black liner.
And shit this is me live with it.
It doesn't matter if I'm black. That group ain't exclusive to whites. They're the poser I'm the really deal.
