Alright y'all well i was reading this book. It was actually really good. I havent finished it yet but imma going to. Well I had to stop reading it because it had said some petty ass shit about Canadian accents.
Well if you guys have never been to Canada im about to inform you. It is so amazing. It is one of the most diverse places that I have ever been and am sad I don't get to live there again.
Well Canada has so many ethnicity that it is actually really amazing from Indians, to natives, whites, Jamaicans. not alot of Hispanics though but still amazing.
So therefore there is no set accents. Everyone speaks like the area in which they grew up in. So if your Indian you're going to carry a similar native accent.
So when people try to make the Canadian accents joke and me being Canadian i chop them bitches at they knees.
I mean yes we pronounce things differently and stuff but accents dont go that far unless youre from the french areas or from the country and I mean even in the states people from the country speak a little crazy too.
Dont even get me start on Jamaican stereotypes. Like they thin all we do is eat curry goat. Smoke weed. Praise Bob Marley. And go around singing one love.
Well only one of those things are untrue. Jk cause someones gonna read this and be like ' I knew it, it knew it'
Well first off we eat other stuff then curry goat and jerk chicken, which both are my shit just so you know. Although marijuana is alot of time used recreational not everyone does it. Also when people over in the states try to smoke and call themselves Rastafarian they dont even know half the actually point of the Rasta faith and just do it to look cool.
We do like Bob Marley.I cant speak on all Jamaicans but in my family is someone influential and so is Usain Bolt. They made it when not everyone could.
One love is our country's like fucking motto and shit but we only say it in a joking matter. We dont really take that shit serious.
