I had a kid literally come up and tell me this.
Okay so the other day I was apart of presentation for black history month because I have to represent the community you know.
First just let me say I did mother help make this dumb ad presentation, all it had wad a bunch of MLK shit like he was the only black person that did anything.
*side note* remember that white friend I was talking about when we were doing the presentation there was a collage of iconic black people and I asked her if she knew any of them besides MLK and she said no. Yet she was speaking for my community.

Okay well the kid was asked why did black people get a month, he was hispanic
I said we fought for it and their time has to come for them to fight for it too.
I said well at least they have like Cinco di mayo or whatever.
Also when he asked why we had a black history month I said because there is twelve months out the year. Eleven of them are white history month.
