Sorry I've kind of been mia but I've finally made it to canada so I'm tryna soak this shit up before it's too late.
So I'm going to talk about something that's very near and dear to my heart.
After seeing this in someone else's rant book I thought damn why didn't I think of this.
Alright I'm talking about how problematic my baby cakes, husband, soul mate childish Gambino is.
Like okay rap in general is very problematic but some take it another level.
Okay first he may or may not say fag alot. And retarded. Like alot alot.
He also is is pretty masogonistic and sexualises Asian women alot.
I can't really speak on the degradingness if what he said about them but he did say that Filipinos are the black people of asia.
I don't know if that's bad or not so imma leave to Asians to deal with that one.
I do feel like he's one of the people who treat black women like outcast. Like in his acting career he write alot of his work that he's featured in.
Like nigga you cast yout self with one black female love intrest.
I know he said in one of his songs that black and white girls come with a set of politics.
Like understand that. You date a black chick, you just another case of black love ,hating all white people, and probably gonna have some nappy headed kids.
And if you date a white chick, it's like you've traded on your own people
But I can also understand where he's coming when he said he never had luck with black women when he was younger so it's hard to be with them because you just can't forget.
But that's no reason to shit on them.
So he's also problematic in other ways that I just can't deal with this moment.
I know some of the shit he has said was wrong but he's just as problematic as kendrick, or j. Cole. Or any fire ass rapper.
But I'm still gonna be my baby daddy and all that good stuff cause be funny and stuff. I jus love him. And new music finna come out although he said he was retiring or what not.
