A cool hand pressed against your heated forehead as the monk came into view when you opened your eyes.

Removing his hand, he took the wet towel from the basin and put it on your forehead after squeezing excess water out. It felt cool and comfortable.

"Why did you save me?"

"Hmm?"

"If you didn't, then you wouldn't have gotten sick."

He was referring to what happened yesterday.

"Kou, are you alright? Answer me!"

No response. You cursed.

"Guys, form a circle around me! I'll heal him now!" Complying, they took out their swords once again, guarding against any danger.

"Then I shall fight alongside with you, Aruji."

His hand squeezed at yours before retracting it back and leaving your room to let you have proper rest.

"I am fine! Besides, I can't afford to take a break! It's not fair to you guys!"

A shrill cry was heard right after you said to the tachi, as you grabbed on the pan's handle without a cloth.
