As they woke up to greet another new day, a surge of warmness came up from the bottom of their hearts.

After she dressed herself up, she then smiled to herself excitedly as she opened the gift box to see the gift for him. It was a scarf, with shades of pink faded out on both ends. White was mainly used in the body of the scarf. She thought it will be nice to see it wrapped around his neck other than his usual red one, and thus she bought knitting materials and started knitting. Glad that she was able to knit in two weeks' time, she then put the cover back to the wooden box and placed it back on the shelves. 

It was their anniversary after all.

Sitting down on the cushion, he then took out the hairpin from the gift box. A ball of light blue hydrangea flowers was its main focus, along with its long metal tassel with some flowers as well. It was exquisite yet elegant; more than enough to portray her beauty. Seeing the ends of her lips going upwards was what he wanted to see. It was nothing significant; but seeing her smiles always made his fatigue go away instantly like magic.

As the day came to an end, both were eager to see each other.

Entering her room, he wrapped one of his arms around her waist and laid his head above hers as they snuggled in the futon for warmth. Autumn had started a few weeks ago, and it was especially cold at night.

"Happy Anniversary, L/N!" He said as he took the hairpin out from the gift box. She awed at its beauty, and pinned her hair up, smiling at him once she was done. He laughed too, as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, admiring her new look. Giving a peck on his lips as a way of appreciation, it was her turn now.

"Happy Anniversary, Kiyomitsu!" She cheered as she took out her gift for him. Opening the box, his eyes widened at the new scarf.

"Wow... It's beautiful!" He exclaimed as he took off his red scarf and wrapped the new pink-white scarf, enjoying the warmth he felt around his neck. She then smiled, revealing the final suprise that she gave him. 

It was a couple ring, with their names engraved on the underside of the ring. He was really surprised before breaking into laughter.

"L/N~ When did you get so good at surprising me? Did you learn from someone?"

"Yeap~ I learned it from someone, and that's~ none other than you, idiot." 

"God... I feel like I am melting from this heat~"

"Don't~" She took the ring from his hands and slid it on his finger before he did the same thing as well. 

"You're really cute~ L/N~"

"I am a cutie pie~"

Both laughed at their cheesy jokes before she broke into tears, overjoyed at this special occasion.
