"Ow ow..."

You hissed in pain as the cooling gel was spread evenly on your burnt area with gentle fingers. A white bandage was seen on your arm.

"Aruji-sama, be more careful! You'll worry us if you keep getting hurt. Leave the meal cooking to me! I can't let your injury go worser. Here you go!" Closing back the lid of the first aid box, the eye patch put the box back and left for the kitchen.

"Aruji... Did you get hurt again?"

You turned to look at the source of voice. It was Monoyoshi, looking depressed.

"Monoyoshi? What happened?"

"I kept bringing you bad luck despite my name.. I am sorry.. "(A/N: 吉 (yoshi) means good luck, but he's thinking that he brought bad luck for his master instead)

You frowned a little at his reason for feeling depressed. Walking nearer to him, you gave him a chop on his head lightly.

"Monoyoshi. Stop thinking that you bring bad luck to me. I was careless to get myself injured in such minor things. Don't blame yourself!"

"But, it's proven... Look at my previous masters-"

"Idiot! It's all in the past now! When I say you don't bring people bad luck means you don't. I am just a clumsy aruji who got burnt by accidentally spilling hot water. Don't ever say that you bring bad luck or else I'll stick a tape to your mouth."

Placing your hand on his head, you ruffled his hair gently before heading to the kitchen to help the eye patch sword despite protests from him.

"Shokudaikiri Mitsutada! I am not a cripple, so just let me help! Everyone is going to faint from hunger by the time you are done cooking! Give me that ladle you eye patch!"

Seeing you and the tachi fight over the ladle, he chuckled and decided to offer his help as well.

He was determined that he will bring good luck for everyone, including his master from now on.

Soon everyone was seen wolfing down the delicious meals that the three of them prepared.
