Allie's POV;
After Shawn performs in Florida, we have one more day here before going to the next place. Shawn had an interview this morning, but now that he's finished we've decided to go to the beach. I've never really gone swimming before, so Shawn is very excited to take me to the ocean.
He appears in my room with his swim trunks on and no shirt, causing me to stare. He's incredibly good looking, I can't deny that.
Shawn smirks and walks over to me, pulling my front to touch his bare chest. "Like the view?" He chuckles. I feel my cheeks heat up and I shove him shoulder playfully before turning away to put a shirt on over my swimsuit. It's Shawn's since he's big and comfy.
Shawn snaps a picture of me swimming in his warm, comfy shirt and puts it on the dresser to add to the photo album later. I roll my eyes and pull my hair into a ponytail before following Shawn and his family down the the hotel lobby. We only have to cross the street since our hotel has a view of the ocean.
Aaliyah kicks off her flip flops and darts into the water where it's knee-deep. Their parents lay down towels and lay on the sand. That doesn't sound like a bad idea, but Shawn is already lifting his shirt off of me. Before I can protest or even process what's happening, he throws me over his shoulder and takes off running toward the water. I squeal and flail my legs, trying not to giggle.
"Shawn! Put me down!" I wiggle to try and escape his tight grip, but it's no use. He's very strong. He sets me down in the water after a moment and I gasp as the cold water rushes around my body and reaches to about my lower stomach.
I flick water at his face and smirk. "I hate you." Shawn grind back before lifting me up and twirling me around. Suddenly, he dips down and my entire body goes under. I gasp before quickly holding my breath and blowing out my nose until we resurface. I gasp again and push my wet hair out of my face before splashing Shawn.
"You could've killed me!" I shriek and giggle.
"I wouldn't have let you drown. I'd be the superhero that comes to your rescue," he says with a smirk, leaning back and treading the water.
I roll my eyes. "Yeah, and it would be your fault you'd have to rescue me," I laugh.
After swimming for a little bit, we decide to get out and dry off. There are a few kiosks spread out around the sidewalk near the beach, so we go to look at what they're selling. Aaliyah buys a pretty shell necklace made from shells found on this beach. I know Shawn will probably want to buy me something. Even though I don't want him to, he will anyway, because that's just how he is.
I break away from Shawn as he looks at one of the kiosks and back away to Aaliyah. "Hey, wanna help me find something for Shawn?" I ask, and she grins.
We go from table to table and look at all the items, until one catches my eye. It's a guitar pick that looks like it's made out of a shell, and it's very beautiful. I decide to buy it after Aaliyah agrees he'll like it. When we reunite with Shawn and his parents, he sure enough has something behind his back.
"I got you something," Shawn smirks slyly, and I grin back. "I got you something too," I say. His grin widens and we exchange our little gifts. Shawn got me a charm bracelet with a little guitar charm on it.
Shawn marvels at my present for him and wraps his strong arms around me. "It's beautiful, thank you, Allie." He kisses my lips sweetly, causing me to smile.
"You're welcome. And thank you for this." I gesture to the bracelet that I've already put on.
"Now you can have a piece of me wherever you go," he says with a cute smile.
I grin back. "I love it."
We spend the rest of the day just wandering around by the beach until sunset, when we go back to the sand and sit on towels to watch the sunset.
"What a beautiful view," Shawn says. I see him watching me from the corner of my eye and shake my head. "You're not even watching the sunset," I laugh. "I wasn't talking about the sunset," Shawn whispers, his lips close to my ear. I shiver a little and can almost feel him smiling. "Why watch the sunset when I can watch you instead?" I sigh and feel my cheeks heat up, but smile and peck his lips.
I hear the click of a camera and Aaliyah hands us a picture. It's of Shawn and I watching the sunset. Our backs are to the camera, but my head is resting on Shawn's shoulder and he has one arm around my waist. I smile at the picture and put it in my pocket to add the the album later. We've really made a lot of memories, which I'm grateful for. I hope we can keep making memories for a long, long time.
A/N - I wrote this like last week in study hall again because I have no life, but I actually liked this chapter and I don't think it sucks! please comment any questions you have for my characters and I'll do the character ask soon!
