Chapter 10:

Riley's POV:

After driving for about an hour, I finally reach Shelly's house. Before heading to the front door, I see that I have 20 missed calls and over 50 text messages. Turning off my phone I head to the front door and knock. As soon as the door opens I am greeted by a hug and immediately the tears begin to fall. I am pulled inside and sat don on the couch. "Are you hungry? You must have had a pretty long drive here." Shelly asks me. "No i'm good thanks. I was wondering if I could stay here for the night?I know it's a lot to ask but I just had to get away." I ask her. "Of course you can you are always welcome to stay. Do you want me to tell your mom you're here?" "No it's ok. I had to get away I don't want them to know I'm here but I'll tell them tomorrow when I get back. I promise!" "Do you want to talk about it?" "I guess.." I tell her what happened between me and Tyler and I can't stop myself from crying. "Sweetheart, you're gonna be ok. He's just a boy. How about we make dinner and then we can watch some movies before bed. Ok?" I nod my head and we get up and head into the kitchen. After dinner we watch a bunch of romantic comedies before heading to bed. I wake up the next morning to the smell of coffee and pancakes and decide that although i love it here I would head back after breakfast. After packing my bag I head downstairs and eat a nice breakfast before heading out. Stopping at a Starbucks halfway home, I decided to turn my phone back on to see only one text out of the ordinary-Riley I just want you to know that we love you and we will be waiting for you when you get home. Love Jamie Tyler and Anna.-Not bothering to reply I decide to get back on the road. I pull into the driveway a little after 12 carrying McDonald's in with me. I brace myself before opening the door to find a very tired looking Tyler sitting on my couch. As soon as I close the door Tyler yells "Guys she isn't back yet! Where can she be? What a mess of things I have made! I should have just told her I liked her that day we went mini golfing. Guys-" Tyler stops mid sentence as he turns around noticing it was me and not Jamie and Anna. "Riley, I'm so sorry I didn't know it was you." he tells me. "Don't worry about it, and I understand that you and Anna are together and I won't let me feel-" he interrupted me by coming over towards me and crashing his lips against mine causing me to stop taking. After a few seconds he pulls away and says"We aren't dating Riley, she was helping me get ready ask you on a date. You're the only girl I like. I've liked you since you've gotten out of that car and I'm sorry for not telling you sooner." "You like me?" I say to him and before he can answer I say to myself "He likes me" before darkness consumes me as I hear Tyler call out my name.

5 hours later-

I wake up with a pounding headache in my own bed. I then notice 3 bodies sitting by my door. "What am I doing in my bed? I thought we were downstairs Tyler?" I ask as 3 heads turn towards me with thankful expressions. "Hey, how are you feelin Riley?" Jamie asks me. "I'm fine I guess the news that Tyler likes me caught me by surprise." I reply blushing smiling at Tyler who is making his way towards me with a smirk on his face. "I Tyler I like you too." "I hope so. Would you like to go out with me sometime when I come back, we have to head down to Texas today." Tyler asks me. I then look at Anna and before I can even ask she tells me "I figured you would want to tell them with me." "Tell us what?" Jamie and Tyler ask together. "Well Anna and I have a surprise for you guys," I say....
